Hyperacidity/ Urticaria and its cure - Homeopathy

After I joined the active pharmaceutical industry in 1990 and while working with very acidic compounds for almost 15 to 16 hours a day and 6 days a week, sometimes even on Sundays, my entire system was so acidic that in 1992 I could barely sit for few minutes and the pain in the middle of the chest, just below Sternum was unbearable and there was pain in other parts of the body also, apart from the pain there were other related symptoms would not let me work, so like everyone else I took suggestions of the experienced, :-) take Gelosil they suggested, Gelosil (India) was a tablet made of Aluminuim Hydroxide which neutralise's the excess acid and gives immediate relief, this is the allopathic answer to Hyper acidity, it is a simple acid base chemical reaction in your Stomach and Esophagus.

So few days with Gelosil felt like the pain and other effects were subsiding and felt little better, but the body has a tremendous capacity to overcome, :-) particularly when you are 25 or 26, and it did and the acid release from the body doubled and the condition was very terrible, and the number of Gelosil tablets also went up, and for days I missed my work and medical bills went up, which were generously paid by the company, I was working for.

But the project was culminating and was a commercial and technical success and we were the first to produce it in India and we beat many leading companies who were importing it from Japan or UK, the happiness that project was a success was much less then the pain due to hyper acidity. :-)

A known Gastroenterologist Dr Nageshwar Reddy who had a very busy clinic in Medinova in Hyderabad, Telangana, he was open afternoon 2:00 pm to midnight and people never stopped, he tried everything from Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, medicines, etc. but the condition remained as the sphere of work also remained, and during those days I took a decision to move out of Active Pharmaceutical Ingradients Industry otherwise called Bulk Drugs, which I did in 1995 to Pharmaceuticals where the compounds are much nicer or softer on skin.

Then I had to think about finding a cure for this terrible anomaly and work at the same time and after some research I found out that If water is used in a proper way one can get rid of Hyper acidity once for all and the time when you take your main meals like lunch has to be dot on particular time so that body doesn't have to keep adapting to your eating habits.

So from 1993 onwards I started taking lunch at 1:00 pm dot on time.

And then there was a hereditary issue with some anomaly in the skin, the Homeopathic doctor called it Urticaria, which it seems my grand mother passed it to my mother, both of them suffered all their lives and then I got it, it kept me busy in all my teen years till I got rid of it in my youth just before getting married, in fact I decided that I would never get married because of that terrible skin anamoly but since I got cured, I got married in 1995, and my father had a very dry skin and he would be scratching his body continuously with a brush and that also I got, :-)

So one thing was clear Allopathy would not do any thing but mask the symptoms so after some research I went for Homeopathy, a known Homeopathy doctor in Hyderabad, Dr Pavuluri Krishna Chowdary, I took his Homeopathic medicine for 2 years and then it vanished like it never happened, I really thank him for being very clear and patient to explain everything, he was already in his late sixties.

With this all Hyper acidity, and other anomalies in the skin vanished but the dry skin. :-)

I can say that I was cured of Hyper acidity with simple changes in food habits, and Homeopathy cleaned my system of excess sulphur so Urticaria was also gone, and since 1995 I never had a single episode of acidity or Urticaria, even though my in-laws were cooking food with high level of spices, and of course work sphere also changed and I was just managing or working on high tech analytical instruments.

Allopathy would have killed me or turned my stomach into a reaction vessel with tons of tablets of Aluminium Hydroxide or then the research suggested that If continued with acid neutralising tablets, the spot at the junction of duodenum and stomach, where the acid is released turns in to an ulcer and then turns into a bleeding ulcer or peptic ulcer and then  into a cancerous growth, so all that can be avoided by making changes to your food habits so that body doesn't have to work overtime trying to adapt to your habits.

Bottom line: For immediate (Emergency) relief Allopathy is good and there is no cure for skin related ailments in Allopathy, but for long time permanent cure Homeopathy or Ayurveda or Unani medicine is perfect.

The reason why Homeopathy works for skin related ailments because such ailments have no common reason, every person has his or her own special reason and Homeopathy finds that reason and then cures it, like in my case it was Sulphur.

Allopathy works to numb the reactions of the body giving immediate relief but the it never cures it or heals it like Ayurveda or Homeopathy or Unani systems do.

Solution:
We have to find the cure for each ailment in all the available systems and use the one which is the best.

Few helpful tips

These are few helpful tips sent to me by my colleague, who in turn got these tips from his friend from India,

Try this........

1) Emergency number - The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and he mobile will search any existing network to establish the mergency number for you, and interestingly ...this number 112 can be dialed even while the keypad is locked. Try it out.

2) Locked the keys in the car? Your car has remote keys? - This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home, call someone on your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor's Note: *It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!"

3) Hidden Battery power - Imagine your cell battery is very low, u r expecting an important call and u don't have a charger. Nokia instrument comes with a reserve battery. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will gets charged when u charge your cell next time.

4) How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone? To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. (Pls do it right now.) Should your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that Whoever stole it can't use/sell it either and can use it as PAPER WEIGHT. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing Mobile phones. Please spread this useful information around.

5) Caution : Always use left ear while using cell (mobile), because if you use the right one it will affect brain directly. This is a true fact from Apollo medical team. Please forward to all your well wishers with  out fail.

Isn't it strange?

ॐ नमः शिवाय!
-
This was sent to me by one of my colleague's with Wahe Guru, and to make it more universal, I replaced it with God.

-Something 2 think about..seriously!!

-Isn't it strange how a $20 note seems like such a large amount when you donate it to the Temple/Gurdwara/Church, but such a small amount when you go shopping? Isn't it strange
-
How 2 hours seem so long when you're at the Temple/Gurdwara/Church, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?
-
Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say when you're praying, but you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?
-
Isn't it strange how difficult it is to read one chapter of the Gita/Bible/Guru Granth Sahib, but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel?
-
Isn't it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games, but they do whatever is possible to sit at the back of the Temple/Church/Gurdwara?
-
Isn't it strange how we need to know about an event for the Temple/Church/Gurdwara 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events in the last minute?
-
Isn't it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God/Waheguru to share it with others, but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?
-
Isn't it strange how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say, but we question the words in the Gita/Scriptures/Bible/Guru Granth Sahib?
-
Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don't want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?
-
Isn't it strange how we send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded right away, but when we are going to send messages about God/Waheguru, we think about it twice before we share it with others?

It's strange isn't it

Herbs and Health

ॐ नमः शिवाय!

Many people have been asking me and my wife for names of Indian Herbs which help Memory development. :-)

I personally never used any herb or any medicine to enhance memory, I think it has to do with my genes or may be the collective genome of Indian subcontinent is enriched in this aspect and the credit of course goes to the food that is eaten in this sub continent.

So what I am doing here is I am listing few herbs which Dr Deepak Chopra listed in his book, The Chopra Center Herbal Handbook and forty Natural Prescriptions for Perfect Health, casting around 10$ on Amazon .com.

Before I start, let me give few examples, which I myself have experienced with these herbs being very efficient in treating various diseases or ailments, and my profession has been to develop allopathic medicines :-))) and I did suffer from lots of occupational allergies from active pharmaceutical ingredients like Ranitidine, Diltiazam etc.

And what did we all use to get rid of these allergies, Homeopathy to Ayurvedic medicine, :-)) I myself used Homeopathy for two years, one of my relative suffered from severe acne all over his face and everyday when he would wipe his face with a soft towel, his face would bleed from various acne sprouts, and his facial expression would be like he had consumed the most bitter pill of his life, then one day on some one's suggestion, we went to a Kerala based Ayurvedic medicine outlet in Secunderabad, India, Amazing, with in few weeks all his acne vanished from his face as if he never had any, the medicine was ghee based and I remember he was advised to take it during winter only, worked wonders and I never saw acne again on his face and his food habits remained same high fat and protein, meat, chicken etc.

As I was studying, Medicinal chemistry as a specialization, I continued to pursue my career in Organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. The beautiful science of Ayurveda remained in the background somewhere in the back of my head, it is now that I am looking at this beautiful science which is a gift to the human race by the Nature and unfortunately even in India it stays in the background, once during 1995, in IICT Hyderabad, where, then Prime Minister of India, Shri P.V.Narashima Rao, rebuked the IICT for running after allopathy based medicines and also insisted that medicine based on Nature be researched, well I am not sure how many people who heard him took his comments seriously, but clearly he was very upset with the kind of work IICT was doing, as far as I know, IICT Hyderabad is a organization where the Chemist and Chemical engineers are busy puling each others legs and the ultimate result is the projects fall on their faces all the time. I was a delegate representing my company in the conference, and as a delegate I could sit in the front two rows, while the Prime minister spoke.

Another example is my own mother, she suffered from some disease, which the allopathic doctors could not diagnose and for months she suffered from unspoken agony in hospitals, later he took her to a local Unani doctor in Agra, I think one or two weeks of Unani medicine, and pop, she was back on her feet.

Purification of the allopathy and isolation of Racemic mixtures and isomers, too much purity and as Mahatma Gandhi said, allopathy medicine is too effective, yes in an emergency nothing beats allopathic medicine but it never cures anything, even in the case of Cancer, allopathy medicine has failed and now most of the researchers are looking towards nutrient based or food based medicines.

Ayurveda, Ayur means life in Sanskrit and Veda means "Knowledge", so Ayurveda is the "knowledge of life", it is an oral tradition like Vedic knowledge it was also passed down from generation to generation, the two schools of Ayurvedic medicines are Charaka School and Sushruta School, both are thousands of years old, Charaka school mostly deals with internal medicine and Sushruta school mainly dealt with surgeries and acute diseases.

As people struggle with genomes and genes to identify and isolate and to engineer medicines unique to each and every person, Ayurvedic science has always emphasized on three types of patients, Vata, Pita and Kapha.

And Deepak Chopra says, according to the Ayurvedic framework, three issues need to be considered when approaching a health concern: the first is the nature of illness, the second is the nature of the intervention, and the third is the nature of the person who has the health problem.

" According to Ayurveda, the three primary levels that must be under-stood to maximize the value of an herbal medicine are,

1) The proportion of elements as carried in the taste of the herb,
2) The heating or cooling potency of the herb,
3) The special medicinal qualities that the Herb possesses".

Few examples of herbs.

Memory and cognitive functions.

Ginseng,
Gotu Kola- Centella asiatica,
Brahmi-Centella asiatica and
Ginkgo - Ginkgo biloba

Other items which are used on a regular basis in Indian meals are.

Turmeric- Curcurma longa
Ginger - Zingiber officinale
Garlic - Allium Sativum
Cardamom- Eletteria cardamomum
Methi- Fenugreek- Trigonella foenum-graecum
Tea- Camellia Sinensis ( Originally from China)
and many more which were not listed in this book.

Others wich are not part of Indian food but are very much used by many.

Neem- Azadirachta Indica
Guggulu - Commiphora mukul, gum.
Amalaki- Emblica officinalis
Lavender- Lavandula angustifolia
Tulsi- Holy basil- Ocimum sanctum
And there are many more which are not listed in this book.
I would suggest everyone to keep a copy of this book and try to incorporate in their daily medicinal intakes.
A simple question, why did the creator create such a large variety of herbs, trees, shrubs, plants, and vegetables, if human was supposed to eat meat based products.
May be the earth looks beautiful with so many green plants..:-))
Why few animals eat grass to induce vomiting when they suffer from indigestion.

Dreams or Mechanisms of mind to solve-I

ॐ नमः शिवाय!

The Body sleeps and yet Mind remains active and at this stage the Prana resides in the Throat and this is called the dream state and the mind is busy creating illusions and visions, based on past experiences and If you live in an apartment in a western city like Montreal or Toronto then you might be sujected to induced dreams electronically to see your reactions to various situations artificially created by few folks working and paid by your own government. :-)

While the body sleeps the mind is busy constructing and reconstructing various issues, and there is a state between these two sometimes called as REM state i.e. Rapid eye movement state, in this state the Mind is like defragmenting all the information collected in that day, many believe that if a person is disturbed during this stage for a long duration, the person might develop Insanity, I am not sure about this, because human mind is far more superior then what we know or think about it, the mind will always find a way out and survive, the next immediate state is the dream state and in this state, the human mind creates something so real that sometimes even the body also goes though the effects, like falling from a edge of a mountain, most of the time, we remember each and every detail of our dreams, and many times the dream remains hidden to the conscious mind, so we do not remember when we get up from the sleep, and many times we recollect the dream in its every detail and for many days and years we do not forget that particular dream.

In the REM (Rapid Eye Moment) state, the mind is defragmenting and filing all the data into the cosmic mind, only a small thread remains in the microcosmic mind, remaining everything is transferred into the cosmic mind, using the thread we are able to recollect the whole data like a computer loading the program from the Hard drive in to the RAM-ROM, once
loaded we recall every detail, but sometimes these threads are lost for ever, it needs external help, like we insert a CD/DVD/Floppy disk, someone had to remind us of that event or happenings, that small piece of information works like a thread to pull the whole program out of the cosmic mind in to our RAM-ROM.

When the body is in deep sleep, the mind is busy, in the dream state, which mostly happens in initial sleep, or in early morning just before we are about to wake up, we remember the whole sequence like a movie and this time is the most appropriate time to actually work on your incomplete dreams because not only the Mind is fresh and energetic it is free and new.

what is the purpose of mind venturing out in to open?, when the body is sleeping. Is it the survival instinct of the human being to find out what is in store for it in the future, sometime it ventures in to the past, this time it is to find out the reason for the past happenings, once the reason is known the strong mind makes a note of this and might help the native in not repeating the same old mistake, so it means that every dream has a meaning and they definitely mean something to the native and a weak person would tell you or would run to a psychiatrist :-).

Well in the past and also in the present times there are lots of people involved in dream interpretation etc, but I feel dreams are very unique and the meaning of every dream is also unique to each and every person
, if one can keep tag on all his/her dreams and match with their daily events, every one can actually understand their dreams, because it is unique to oneself, few dreams are universal and the meaning of the dream is also universal.

e.g.

People rolling in feaces, or working with feaces, or surrounded with feaces, is an indication that the future of the native holds good for all the financial investments and financial dealings, this is very universal, since the requirement of money is universal, it is a universal desire deep rooted in the psyche of the modern human being, without which nothing moves, in some movie, some one said, "Money makes bullshit walk, then what is a human".Marriage in dreams also is universal, there is a belief that it is linked with the only universal truth, the death, it does not mean that death is certain, it depends in what situations the marriage was seen by the native, it could indicate a lingering issue which could lead the native into a death trap etc. and some believe that Marriage in dreams means future engagements, which would turn in to partnerships etc. One such Dictionary of Dreams by Antonia Beattie, says Marriages in dreams naturally concern partnerships, then the nature of participants, setting , mood, and so on would give us the clue to what particular form of union is being brought to our attention, this explanation appears more logical then death.

Another Universal Dream sequence almost everyone goes through is a Nasty Lion or a monster following them all over the place but with very slow movement and actually the lion does not harm, it simply follows everywhere, even in to a bath tub, this dream is very universal in children, it only shows the general fear of animals, and the Lion not attacking in the dream suggests that the Fear is not real and the Lion following also suggests that it is an Insecurity that lingers in our Minds, that we are at risk and someone is always following us, then the Lion getting into the bathtub and sharing the water with you, suggests that the Fear is imaginary and when you face it, it no longer remains a Fear but it turns into your strength, the Dictionary of Dreams by Antonia Beattie says, Dream of a powerful creature as such as a Lion or Tiger generally signifies your inner Strength.

Other animals,

Elephant or Rhino = Weight problems or Slow moving Projects,
Horses = Change,
Mice and Rats = Part of a efficient team or family,
Monkeys = Playful side of your nature,
Rabbits = New baby,
Sheep= Spiritual protection,
Cats = Self pity, superstition,
Deer = Loss of friendship,
Dogs = Loyalty and protection,
Snakes and lizards = uncertainty and deceit.

Many times the mind shows us small glimpses of some event that would happen in the future, most of the time the conscious mind does not remember but there is a thread attached to this event, and the moment the event unfolds, to the native it appears that this has happened before, but actually he/she also experiences it for the first time like everyone else, but since they have a thread attached to this event, for them it appears they have already seen this before, and if this happens again and again, don't go to a psychiatrist.

Because general understanding is you have lost your mind, there you would be asked some meaningless questions and then prescribe some medicine, he/she would not have enough information about the implications or side effects of that medicine, the native would unnecessarily get into trouble, I would say instead of running to a psychiatrist, run to your notebook and make a note of it, do not get excited or do not think that something is wrong with you, and see if you can remember the event before it takes place, it is possible, once you get up from your sleep, make a note of the dreams or events that you remember, word by word, a drawing of the dream is more helpful then words, and please keep it private to yourself, because 99% people do not understand this including psychiatrists, It is exactly like the UFO Stigma, Oh! did you see a UFO, OK, did they kidnap you, then what happened , did they do something to you etc. etc., all this is the result of insecurities particularly of those people who wants to control this world, and when they find someone more evolved or advanced they develop deep insecurity and the result is all this lousy talk.

Another time I was traveling with my mother, we were in an Autorickshaw, which stopped at a cross roads and then I narrated the next few seconds to my mother, she said, how do you know, but she did not contradict me, since she too experienced these kind of things many times and her mother i.e. my grandmother also did, my grandmother it seems saw a giant getting out of a Peepal Tree and crossed the street in two steps and vanished, and very interesting thing about this event was that I recollected another event attached to the same place, that I would be sipping tea in a cafe on that very crossroads, I kept this in my mind, few days later not by force but due to an old friend I had to share a cup of tea in that cafe (It is a ritual among friends in Hyderabad-India to order one cup of tea and an empty cup), there is no significance, since they were just mundane events or may be there was something for me or both of us and may be we missed it, but if some thing significant is attached and you are not able to recollect it before it happens, it is a mere wastage of energy, but nothing to worry, we will be just another person from the normal lot, and many would be happy about it.

Another important event that happened right here in Montreal, A women joined my department in 2002 ( This is the same women who asked me all my ideas and dreams), the very moment I felt that as if someone was telling me, this women will bring you lots of hardship in the future, I wrote that message and gave it to my wife, she read it and suggested, "then stay away from her", but I thought, if I stay very close with her like a good friend then may be I can bypass those troubles, but as it is said, "Man proposes and God disposes", the Troubles came as they were supposed to, this women created ( Through lies and rumours) so much trouble for me, I am still dealing with them, it has been 5 years now and I can say I am not yet out of them, well I know it is my bad Karma from past and I am paying it back, the planets act through humans only they can not act directly, so in a way humans are planets.

Now I try to make a note of all the dreams that are created by my mind and if possible I try to keep it in my recent documents folder (Not my computer, it is in my mind :-))), it helps a lot to pull the event even before it starts to unfold, some people might read this as " Oh!, he knows the future" etc. but it is a practised art which needs to be perfected, but this will happen only when we humans break the current shell of hypocrisy or avoid trying to explain everything, or if we can not explain it then not to accept it, accept only if we can see it or hear it, every time such a discussion pops up, there is only one question for this, " Do you see or hear or taste or touch the remote signals?, I am sure the answer is NO, but the moment we press a button on the Remote, the channel changes in the TV, everything paranormal is like this, they are beyond the perception of our senses, so it is not possible to explain it, so to explain them first we will have to accept that Human being is capable of certain activities which might be called paranormal, and once accepted, then the required sense or senses would automatically develop and then we will always be in a position to explain them.

There are few people like Brenda Mallon, who organise group activity to share the dreams and also to initiate the common dream in a group, Most of the famous scientists finished their scientific research with the help of dreams, eg. Albert Einstein and Erwin Schrodinger, and many more, that means during dream state our mind is more focused and is more apt to solve intricate problems, in waking state the mind is distracted, which also suggests that we can continue or discontinue the dreams, as per our wish and whim and fancy, so it is like story which can be written as per your wish, yet it remains a dream, so very complex problems can be solved by just making them your dream topics, like in one of the books by Brenda Mallon, she says write down your topic and keep that paper under your pillow, it help us to create that dream in our mind, in a way, that piece of paper works as a thread to activate certain story in your mind.

Few good quotes to digest

Like there are two sides to every coin, there are two sides to every story sometimes they have multiple sides also, every human should make it a practise to look for both sides of any story, and mostly it will be found that the Truth lingers persistently in silence on the other side.

Few quotes from the History, see if we can digest.

"Believe nothing merely because you have been told it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be kind, conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings — that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide." — Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama), Indian philosopher and founder of Buddhism (c. 563-c. 483 B.C.).

Truth resides in every human heart, and one has to search for it there, and to be guided by truth as one sees it. But no one has a right to coerce others to act according to his own view of the truth.--M.K.Gandhi.
.
"I worship God as Truth only. I have not yet found Him, but I am seeking after Him. I am prepared to sacrifice the things dearest to me in pursuit of this quest. Even if the sacrifice demanded my very life, I hope I may be prepared to give it." M.K.Gandhi.
.
"The greatest friend of truth is Time, her greatest enemy is Prejudice, and her constant companion is Humility." Charles Caleb Colton, British Clergyman (1780 - 1832)

"The man who fears no truths has nothing to fear from lies." Thomas Jefferson 3rd President of the United States (1801-1809).

"I have not observed men’s honesty to increase with their riches.” — Thomas Jefferson, Founding Father and third U.S. president (1743-1826), in a letter to Jeremiah Moor, 1800.

"Let the people know the truth and the country is safe." Abraham Lincoln 16th President of the United States (1809-1865).
.
"If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything." Mark Twain (1835-1910).
.
"Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at the touch, nay, you may kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at evening." Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. American jurist (1841-1935).
.
"The truth is cruel, but it can be loved and it makes free those who have loved it." George Santayana, American philosopher and poet (1863-1952).
.
"Don’t tell your friends their social faults; they will cure the fault and never forgive you." — Logan Pearsall Smith, American writer (1865-1946).

Truth exists. Only lies are invented." Georges Braque French painter (1882-1963).

"I don't give them hell. I just tell the truth and they think it is hell." Harry S. Truman 33rd President of the United States (1884-1972).
.
Truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it, but, in the end, there it is. Sir Winston Churchill.

"Truth knows no color; it appeals to intelligence." James Cone Theologian (1938-).
.
“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie — deliberate, contrived, and dishonest — but the myth — persistent, persuasive and realistic.” — John F. Kennedy, 20th-century American president (from the Yale Commencement address, 1962).

"Honesty is not a policy, it is a state of mind."— Eugene L’Hote, philosopher

It is only error which needs the support of the governament, Truth can stand on its own.

The trouble with lying and deceiving is that their efficiency depends entirely upon a clear notion of the truth that the liar and deceiver wishes to hide. In this sense, truth, even if it does not prevail in public, possesses an ineradicable primacy over all falsehoods. --Hannah Arendt

Truth indeed rather alleviates than hurts, and will always bear up against falsehood, as oil does above water.--Miguel de Cervantes

Truth is a deep kindness that teaches us to be content in our everyday life and share with the people the same happiness.--Kahlil Gibran

There are times when we must sink to the bottom of our misery to understand truth, just as we must descend to the bottom of a well to see the stars in broad daylight. --Václav Havel

The only way into truth is through one's own annihilation; through dwelling a long time in a state of extreme and total humiliation. --Simone Weil

It is not because the truth is too difficult to see that we make mistakes. It may even lie on the surface; but we make mistakes because the easiest and most comfortable course for us is to seek insight where it accords with our emotions- especially selfish ones. --Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

It takes two to speak the truth- one to speak and another to hear. --Henry David Thoreau

In order to swim one takes off all one's clothes- in order to aspire to the truth one must undress in a far more inward sense, divest oneself of all one's inward clothes, of thoughts, conceptions, selfishness etc. before one is sufficiently naked. --Soren Kierkegaard.

God offers to every mind its choice between truth and repose. Take which you please; you can never have both. --Ralph Waldo Emerson

Every truth is so true that any truth must be false. --F. H. Bradley

Closest to the truth are those who deal lightly with it because they know it is inexhaustible. --Golo Mann

Nothing is poorer than a truth expressed as it was thought. Committed to writing in such cases, it is not even a bad photograph. . . . Truth wants to be startled abruptly, at one stroke, from her self-immersion, whether by uproar, music or cries for help. --Walter Benjamin

If it were true what in the end would be gained? Nothing but another truth. Is this such a mighty advantage? We have enough old truths still to digest, and even these we would be quite unable to endure if we did not sometimes flavor them with lies. --G. C. Lichtenberg

The truth has never been of any real value to any human being- it is a symbol for mathematicians and philosophers to pursue. In human relations kindness and lies are worth a thousand truths. --Graham Greene

When something important is going on, silence is a lie.--A.M. Rosenthal

Truth is the secret of eloquence and of virtue, the basis of moral authority; it is the highest summit of art and of life ---Henri Frederic Amiel

The 90-10 Principle

Know the 90-10 principle.

Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it.
The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle.

The result?

Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems andheartache.

We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.

It CAN change your life!!! Read the attachment

Discover the 90/10 Principle.

It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations).

Author: Stephen Covey
What is this principle?

10% of life is made up of what happens to you.
90% of life is decided by how you react.

What does this mean?
It means we really have no control over 10% of what happens to us.

We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic.
We have no control over this 10%.

The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.
How? ---- By your reaction.
YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example.
You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just happened.
What happens next will be determined by how you react.
You curse.
You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows.

You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus.

Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit. After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home.

When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.

Why? ---- Because of how you reacted in the morning.

Why did you have a bad day?
A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?

The answer is “D".

You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day.
Here is what could have and should have happened.

Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "Its ok honey, you just need to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.
Notice the difference?

Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different.

Why?
Because of how you REACTED.

You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.

React properly and it will not ruin your day.

Remember the 90/10 principle.

Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it. The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle.

The result?

Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and
heartache.

We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.

It CAN change your life!!!

Enjoy….
