Line of life: Part I

ॐ श्री गुरावे नमः !

The life line as it suggests deals with the life in general, but as it is believed it does not directly convey the life duration, sometimes people simply measure their life line and conclude that they have a short or long life, but one has to be very careful reading it and concluding information from it, because there are many misconceptions and misunderstandings regarding this line.

Life line gives us the general information about the health of general life, the content of your life and duration of life is the last one, based on the curve and the area in the curve i.e. how many years would one person live, well as per Rishi's, in Kalyuga ( Current Yuga) the maximum life span of any human is not more than 120 years, most of them dwindle immediately after their retirement because, psychologically after working for 35 to 40 years, suddenly when they retire and are out in the open doing nothing but house chores or fooling around in the homes of their kids or with their grand children, or many of them I have seen start a fresh life, they start looking for new relations though the body does not support such an endeavour etc, but internally the day they retire, the mind tells them you are useless, the person starts feeling worthless and dies internally long before he actually dies. so death has more to do with the health of the Mind, Body and Soul, then just with the length of life line, so to measure one's duration of life in terms of earn ability, social life, personal and professional life, one should take in to account the length and quality of fate line, line of intelligence, and line of heart, Rachettes and also the line of Health of life (I will add this in my next post) then the quality of life line, finally the length of life line, once done, then check the size of your hand, check the palm length with the length of fingers, etc. once all these are put together, you can deduce, what would be your life like and the duration also.

Two extreme cases of this line are: One a very short life line reaching up to the level of inner edge of the thumb and stops, second one is a complete circle reaching up to the back of the palm, check for length and quality of other lines before concluding, like any other line, check for the health of life line i.e. color, depth, curve, marks and signs, particularly dot "." , and hash "#" and also for gaps, these are bad, and would suggest a possible break in the life at that particular time point, when this happens, almost all the major lines will also show similar effects, when I say break in the life, I mean the native might stop living when there is a dot and the line stops there, that is right the only truth we know"Death", but nothing to worry about, there will be more lives after this, it is a vicious cycle, if the line continues after the dot, it would mean that the native met with an life threatening accident or event but survived, in this case see for similar breaks and marks on the fate line and line of health also, at the same time look for a sister life line running parallel to the main life line inside the Venus mount, this kind of line is common in almost every women I have seen, particularly those who had difficult delivery, the sister life line sustains the life during those difficult hours, it is less common in Men.

The rules regarding the color, depth are common for all the main lines, Fig P5A shows various life lines based on the color and depth.

The above figure shows various lives lines based on the color and depth, the length of the line is full and the curve is also excellent, so a person with a life line in the figure P5A2 & 5 (again it depends on the thickness of the palm) will live a long and full filling life, the life will be complete in all spheres of modern life.

Fig P5B shows various types life lines, here we have to see the origin of the life line, the length, the curve, I have tried to keep the color and depth common for all, the first one is very normal but short and the curve is small and the Venus mount is greatly effected due to this flat arc, the life of the person will lack the emotional side pertaining to relations with family but the relation with others will be in excess, so lack of affection in home will be balanced by affection bought from outside, the lack of affection and also lack of ability to extend affection will effect the life spheres, the second one is a normal life line, complete by all means, this is the best life line one could ask for, a long and complete fulfilling life, balanced ability to receive and extend affection, the third one is in the excess side, the native will have too much attention in the home front and will lack external circles, but the positive side of this is the native will be very spiritual, spirituality breaks open from rejection in the family social circles, the length of the line though is full does not mean that the person will live 120 years, NO, the native whatever years he will survive will live the kind of life as described, it could be from 0 to 120 years, short life is 0 to 30 years, medium life is up to 70 years and long life is up to 120 years.

The second three figures, 4, 5 and 6 are complete life lines as far as life content is concerned, in these three figures, look at the origin of the life line and then the way it travels towards the wrist, no 4 is found in all those people, who had very sensitive parents, and had too much governance, so as the adage goes " Most governed is least governed and least governed is most governed, too much security makes people too dependent on family circles and hence develop a tendency to crave for such security all their life, this causes little problems in social interactions, no 5 is very common one, seen in all those people, who had a very normal upbringing, parental care, social care, and normal dependence on these circles and hence the curve of the right degree, I have already discussed this issue in the previous post on line of intelligence, because this clearly tells you the basic foundation of an individual, like by looking at the pattern, you can immediately get an idea, what kind of individual you are dealing with, the parental care could be from anyone, but if it satisfies the conditions, it is enough, No 6 is separated from the line of intelligence, this is found in case of orphans and completely neglected children, meaning independent development right from the beginning, in circumstances like, living in orphanage, living with very old grand mothers, living in bad foster care homes, living on the streets etc, the environment forces the native to fend for himself/herself, but during that phase if they get any parent like support, then the line of intelligence will huddle closer to the line of life, I have tried to show it little on the extreme side to emphasize the point that, the native with this kind of line would lack complete social coverage of any sort, from this point you can deduce the % of social affection one got during their initial years and this basically forms the basis or foundation of the natives adult life and how one interacts with others etc. One very important point is if any one of them during their growing years get an opportunity to develop skills to cover their deficiencies then it becomes little difficult to figure out, but the pattern will still be reflecting the kind of initial life one had.

The other thing I could not show in the figures is the pattern below the index finger, one has to look is the no of lines entering the life line on the right side edge of the palm i.e. below the index finger, this would indicate the no of souls, which tried to enter the body of native during conception in the womb. more lines would indicate more split personality, one line is in very normal and simple people, I feel the souls compete with each other to enter the body, and the one with more suitable karmic points succeeds, but during this process, they do create a disharmony in the native Mind and Body, which sometimes goes a very long way causing trouble and misery to the native, blessed are those with just one line.

Fourth point is look for small lines entering the life line below the Index finger, these lines are extra energy needed to sustain the life force in the native during his/her initial years.

look for Island like circles in the initial segment of the life line and line of intelligence, this would suggest some kind of mystery attached with the natives birth, try to find out from your mother or elders for any event that came to their knowledge or was discussed during the birth of the native and a island would also suggest neglected by parents for that much time.

Fif P5C shows various lengths, marks and signs, No 1 is complete, No 2 is medium and stops meaning the native might stop living his normal life and instead move away from the social circles, and if there are no marks or signs, look for the health of other major lines and if all are effected like this, then the native might have a medium life, again, If the native starts Yogic and Pranayama to improve or sustain the life force, then the line would change and the duration and quality will also change, No 3 is a very short line, look for same signs and conditions but the duration and the quality of life of this native will certainly be incomplete by many ways. No 4 is a short life line with a black dot, this is a indication of abrupt ending of life force, but if the line continues after a gap, then the native struggled to survive and came out a winner, a parallel life line in the inside is a life sustaining line in the difficult times.

A hash "#", suggests surgery, this mark would be slightly towards the center of the palm, the no of surgeries can be seen with no of "#", signs, it is again very common in women with Cesarean sections, and men with surgeries to their reproductive systems and abdomen.
Circles, islands, triangles, squares, all these are due to lack flow of life force and form a reservoir of the energy, but if channelized properly can lead to very beneficial life, or once it takes it own course, there will be too many options and to many distractions in the life of the native.

I have not seen any hand till now without any life line, No 6, if available please send me a scanned picture of the palms both right and left with particulars to ianala@hotmail.ca, I would appreciate that.

Fig P5D show the ending of the life lines, No 1 is a good ending, No 2 is with a bifurcation, meaning the native will have choice to settle in his native land or in a foreign land during his/her last years. No 3 is a triangle formed with the fate line, meaning during that point of time in the life of the native, the native would find himself/herself standing right in the cross roads of life and too many choices might be available or no choice might be available which can be seen from the lines that pass from this triangle towards the Rachette or the wrist.

No 4 ends forming a circle close to the thumb the native will pass his/her last years in his native land, and it also shows Rachettes on the wrist, Rachettes are like graphs of your life, one look at the pattern and quality of Rachettes can give you the complete picture of the natives life, after deducing the approx. length of the life, divide that number with no of Rachettes one has, each one will give information about the overall health of the natives that part of life, No 5 shows life line ending towards the mount of moon it would mean the last years in a foreign land and could be spiritual too.

No 6 shows life line merging with the fate line, this has more to do with the fate line then with the life line, the natives fate was entirely dependent on the parents life pattern, earning source etc. Horizontal lines in the Venus mount area or inside the Arc formed by the line of life are the influence lines from the natives family side and if they cut the life line or any other major line and travel all the way up to the four upper mounts, Mercury, Apollo, Saturn and Jupiter, that would suggest that the influence of that familial source would influence that particular aspect of the natives life, small lines ending inside the life line would mean that the native does not entertain family members in his/her daily life events.

The most important thing which everyone is actually interested is the length of life, I have already given enough indication that it is not possible to measure the length of line with a scale and declare 'x' years, all the above given points needs to be considered and length of the life determined, but for pointing out the life events, one needs some scale, so the life line for this purpose can be divided in to segments of 5 years starting from below the index finger to the wrist, 70 years is taken as a basic figure for all purposes, then again 5 years in a small hand would be just few mm and in a very large hand, more than a cm.
The best way to increase the life span is by doing regular Pranayama, minimum three cycles basic pranayama morning and evening with chanting Gayatri Mantra would enhance the life force and will help the body last longer, in case not able to do so, does not matter, there always is a next life:-)

More to follow.................need some time.:-)))))

Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi a Mystic
Mahatma Gandhi (Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi) during freedom struggle

Gandhi in the uniform of a sergeant of the Indian Ambulance Corps. He served during the Boer War (1899).

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born into the Hindu Modh family in Porbandar in 1869. He was the son of Karamchand Gandhi, the dewan (Prime Minister) of Porbandar, and Putlibai, Karamchand's fourth wife, a Hindu of the Pranami Vaishnava order. He was born into the vaishya, or business caste.
In May 1883, at the age of 13, Gandhi was married through his parents' arrangements to Kasturbai Makhanji (known as "Ba"), They had four sons: Gandhi was a mediocre student in his youth at Porbandar and later Rajkot. He barely passed the matriculation exam for Samaldas College at Bhavanagar, Gujarat. He was also unhappy at the college, because his family wanted him to become a Barrister.
At the age of 18 on Sep 4, 1888, Gandhi went to University College London to train as a barrister. His time in London, the Imperial capital, was influenced by a vow he had made to his mother in the presence of the Jain monk Becharjee, upon leaving India, to observe the Hindu precepts of abstinence from meat, alcohol, and promiscuity. Although Gandhi experimented with adopting "English" customs – taking dancing lessons for example – he could not stomach his landlady's mutton and cabbage. She pointed him towards one of London's few vegetarian restaurants. Rather than simply go along with his mother's wishes, he read about, and intellectually embraced vegetarianism, He joined the vegetarian society, was elected to its executive committee, and founded a local chapter.
He was encourages to read the Bhagvad Gita. Not having shown a particular interest in religion before, he read about Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, Islam and other religions. He returned to India after being admitted to the bar of England, but had limited success establishing a law practice in Mumbai, later applying and being turned down for a part-time job as a high school teacher. He ended up returning to Rajkot to make a modest living drafting petitions for litigants, but was forced to close down that business as well when he ran afoul of a British officer. In his autobiography, he describes this incident as a kind of unsuccessful lobbying attempt on behalf of his older brother. It was in this climate that (in 1893) he accepted a year-long contract from an Indian firm to a post in Natal, South Africa.
Civil Rights Movement in South Africa (1893—1914)

Gandhi read his first newspaper at the age of 23, and was prone to stage fright while speaking in court. South Africa changed him dramatically, as he faced the discrimination commonly directed at blacks and Indians. One day in court at Durban, the magistrate asked him to remove his turban. Gandhi refused and stormed out of the courtroom. He was thrown off a train at Pietermaritzburg, after refusing to move from the first class to a third class coach while holding a valid first class ticket. Traveling further on by stagecoach, he was beaten by a driver for refusing to travel on the foot board to make room for a European passenger. He suffered other hardships on the journey as well, including being barred from many hotels. These incidents have been acknowledged by several biographers as a turning point in his life, explaining his later social activism. It was through witnessing firsthand the racism, prejudice and injustice against Indians in South Africa that Gandhi started to question his people's status, and his own place in society. However, these events by no means explain why he inculcated non-violence instead of aggressive revolution.
At the end of his contract, Gandhi prepared to return to India. However, at a farewell party in his honour in Durban, he happened to glance at a newspaper and learned that a bill was being considered by the Natal Legislative Assembly to deny the right to vote to Indians. When he brought this up with his hosts, they lamented that they did not have the expertise necessary to oppose the bill, and implored Gandhi to stay and help them. He circulated several petitions to both the Natal Legislature and the British Government in opposition to the bill. Though unable to halt the bill's passage, his campaign was successful in drawing attention to the grievances of Indians in South Africa. Supporters convinced him to remain in Durban to continue fighting against the injustices levied against Indians in South Africa. He founded the Natal Indian Congress in 1894, with himself as the Secretary. Through this organization, he molded the Indian community of South Africa into a homogeneous political force, publishing documents detailing Indian grievances and evidence of British discrimination in South Africa. Gandhi returned briefly to India in 1896 to bring his wife and children to live with him in South Africa. When he returned in January 1897, a white mob attacked and tried to lynch him. In an early indication of the personal values that would shape his later campaigns, he refused to press charges on any member of the mob, stating it was one of his principles not to seek redress for a personal wrong in a court of law.
At the onset of the South Africa War, Gandhi argued that Indians must support the War effort in order to legitimize their claims to full citizenship, organizing a volunteer ambulance corps of 300 free Indians and 800 indentured labourers called the Indian Ambulance Corps, one of the few medical units to serve wounded black South Africans. He himself was a stretcher-bearer at the Battle of Spion Kop, and was decorated. At the conclusion of the war, however, the situation for the Indians did not improve, but continued to deteriorate. In 1906, the Transvaal government promulgated a new Act compelling registration of the colony's Indian population. At a mass protest meeting held in Johannesburg on September 11th that year, Gandhi adopted his methodology of Satyagraha (devotion to the truth), or non-violent protest, for the first time, calling on his fellow Indians to defy the new law and suffer the punishments for doing so, rather than resist through violent means. This plan was adopted, leading to a seven-year struggle in which thousands of Indians were jailed (including Gandhi himself on many occasions), flogged, or even shot, for striking, refusing to register, burning their registration cards, or engaging in other forms of non-violent resistance. While the government was successful in repressing the Indian protesters, the public outcry stemming from the harsh methods employed by the South African government in the face of peaceful Indian protesters finally forced South African General Jan Christiaan Smuts to negotiate a compromise with Gandhi.
A British-educated lawyer, Gandhi first employed his ideas of peaceful civil disobedience in the Indian community's struggle for civil rights in South Africa. Upon his return to India, he organized poor farmers and labourers to protest against oppressive taxation and widespread discrimination. Assuming leadership of the Indian National Congress, Gandhi led nationwide campaigns for the alleviation of the poverty, for the liberation of women, for brotherhood amongst differing religions and ethnicities, for an end to untouchability and caste discrimination, and for the economic self-sufficiency of the nation, but above all for Selfrule—the independence of India from foreign domination. Gandhi famously led Indians in the disobedience of the salt tax on the 400 kilometre Dandi Salt March in 1930, and in an open call for the British to Quit India in 1942. He was imprisoned for many years on numerous occasions in both South Africa and India.
Throughout his life, Gandhi remained committed to non-violence and truth even in the most extreme situations. A student of Hindu philosophy, he lived simply, organizing an ashram that was self-sufficient in its needs. Making his own clothes—the traditional Indian dhoti and shawl woven with a chakra, he lived on a simple vegetarian diet. He used rigorous fasts, for long periods, for both self-purification and protest. Gandhi's life and teachings inspired Dr Martin Luther King Jr
., Steve Biko and Aung San Suu Kyi and through them the American Civil rights movement and the freedom struggles in South Africa and Myanmar respectively.

In May 1915, Gandhi founded an ashram on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, India and called it Satyagraha Ashram (also known as Sabarmati ashram). There lodged twenty five men and women who took vows of truth, celibacy, ahimsa, nonpossession, control of the palate, and service of the Indian people.
Under his leadership India won Independence on 15 August, 1947

Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa

Shri Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa

Shri Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa, a mystic, (Gadadhar Chattopadhyay) was born to poor Khudiram and Chandramani in the village of Kamarpukur, West Bengal province of Bharat(India). Gadadhar disliked school, and did not show interest in earning money. Instead he devoted most of his time with nature, he liked visiting monks, He respected people from lower caste.

Rani Rashmoni founded a temple at dakshineswar, Gadadhar was to decorate the deity Bhavatarini, he began to question if he was worshipping a piece of stone or a living goddess. If he was worshipping a living Goddess, why should she not respond to his worship? This question nagged him day and night. Then, he began to pray Kali "Mother, please reveal yourself to me, Am I not also your son?" he would weep and some times cryout loudly while worshipping, At night, he would go into a nearby jungle and spend the whole night praying.

One day he grew so impatient to see Mother Kali that he seized a sword hanging on the wall and was about to strike himself with it, when the light from the deity spread across the temple, the very sight of this devine illumination made him unconscious, it is a general talk that, when such a light comes out particularly from Kali, one should start looking at it from the feet to the head to avoid the ferocious appearance of goddess Kali, many monks have lost their minds and gone crazy when gazed directly at the illumination.

by doing so the appearance of the goddess takes the form of very pleasing goddess durga,

Ramakrishna was initiated in advaita vedanta by a wandering monk named Totapuri, in the city of dakshineswar, Ramakrishna started to remain in the state of Samadhi for six months at a stretch.
Rumors spread that Ramakrishna had gone mad, marriage was proposed, instead of objecting to the marriage, he mentioned Jayrambati, three miles away from Kamarpukur, the five-year-old bride, Sarada, was found and the marriage was duly solemnised. she remained with her parents till she turned 18, then she joined Ramakrishna, but by then Ramakrishna was way deep in renunciation, so Sarada become his first disciple, he began to treat her as the Universal mother and would perform puja, Sarada as Tripura Sundari Devi. He said, 'I look upon you as my own mother and the Mother who is in the temple'. Ramakrishna impressed upon Sarada Devi that she was not only the mother of his young disciples, but also of all humanity. Initially, Sarada Devi was initially shy about playing this role, but slowly, she filled it with courage.

Sarada Devi

Her renunciation is believed by devotees to be a striking quality that she shared with her husband in a measure equal to, if not beyond, his. The true nature of their relationship and kinship was believed to be beyond the grasp of ordinary minds. Ramakrishna concluded, after close and constant association with her, that her relationship and attitude toward him were firmly based on a divine spiritual plane. Devotees believe that as they shared their daily lives, no other thought other than that of the divine presence, arose in their minds. An account of such continuous divine relationship between two souls of opposite gender is unique in religious records, not known in any of the past hagiographies. After the passing away of Ramakrishna, Sarada Devi became a religious teacher in her own right and she is called as holy mother.
He soon came to be known as Ramakrishna Paramahansa, seekers of God were attracted to him, he taught the basic truths of religion for about fifteen years and eventually developed throat cancer and attained Mahasamadhi on 16 August, 1886.
Ramakrishna's taught oneness of existence, the divinity of living beings, the unity of god, and harmony of religions, he beleived that the primal bondage of human beings were lust and greed, he emphasized that God-realization is the supreme goal of all living beings, religion was merely a mean for the achievement of this goal. Devotees believe that Ramakrishna's realization of nirvikalpa samadhi also led him to an understanding of the two sides of maya (illusion), to which he referred as Avidyamaya and Vidyamaya. He explained that avidyamaya represents dark forces (e.g. sensual desire, evil passions, greed, lust and cruelity), which keep the world-system on lower planes of conciousness. These forces are responsible for human entrapment in the cycle of births and death, and they must be fought and vanquished. Vidyamaya, on the other hand, represents higher forces (e.g. spiritual virtues, enlightening qualities, kindness, purity, love and devotion), which elevate human beings to the higher planes of consciousness. With the help of vidyamaya, he said that devotees could rid themselves of avidyamaya and achieve the ultimate goal of becoming Mayatita - that is, free from maya.

The famous Swami Vivekanada ( 1863-1902) was his first desciple and he started the

Swami Vivekanada
Ramakrishna matth and Mission institute of culture in Calcutta in 1897, Swami Vivekananda become famous after his speech at Parliament of Religions held in Chicago in 1893, after a very hectic but short public life of mere 10 years, swami vivekananda also suffered from throat cancer and in the midst of acute physical suffering he left for posterity his four classics: Jnana-Yoga, Bhakti-Yoga, Karma-Yoga, and Raja-Yoga, all of which are outstanding treatises on Sanatana( Hindu) philosophy. He passed away at the young age of 39 years.

Quotes - Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma's few famous quotes

(Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi)
All the religions of the world, while they may differ in other respects, unitedly proclaim that nothing lives in this world but Truth.

Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.

Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest.

Breach of promise is a base surrender of truth.

Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.
Everyone who wills can hear the inner voice.

Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances.First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

God is, even though the whole world deny him. Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self-sustained.

It is within everyone. An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it.

I would heartily welcome the union of East and West provided it is not based on brute force.

In a gentle way, you can shake the world. In matters of conscience, the law of the majority has no place.

In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words without a heart  It has always been a mystery to me how men can feel themselves honoured by the humiliation of their fellow beings.

It is any day better to stand erect with a broken and bandaged head then to crawl on one's belly, in order to be able to save one's head.

Love never claims, it ever gives. Love ever suffers, never resents never revenges itself.

Man can never be a woman's equal in the spirit of selfless service with which nature has endowed her.

My religion is based on truth and non-violence. Truth is my God. Non-violence is the means of realising Him.

Non-violence requires a double faith, faith in God and also faith in man.

Peace is its own reward.

Poverty is the worst form of violence.

Prayer is a confession of one's own unworthiness and weakness.

Prayer is not an old woman's idle amusement. P

roperly understood and applied, it is the most potent instrument of action.

Prayer is the key of the morning and the bolt of the evening.

The good man is the friend of all living things.

The real ornament of woman is her character, her purity.

The spirit of democracy is not a mechanical thing to be adjusted by abolition of forms. It requires change of heart.

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

Those who know how to think need no teachers.

Truth is by nature self-evident. As soon as you remove the cobwebs of ignorance that surround it, it shines clear.

Truth never damages a cause that is just.Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self-sustained.

We must become the change we want to see in the world.

Where love is, there God is also.

Where there is love there is life.

You can chain me, you can torture me, you can even destroy this body, but you will never imprison my mind.

You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.

Line Of Heart: Part -I

ॐ श्री गुरावे नमः !

Line of Heart as the name suggests concerns heart activity, and it is the third most important line after the fate line and the line of intelligence, this line starts on the percussion side of the palm below the little finger, it travels from right to left in a left hand and from left to right a right hand dividing the palm roughly into 1/3 on the top and 2/3 below it, three very basic types of lines are, one ending very bluntly between the Saturn finger and the index finger (most common), second is curved up to the mount of Jupiter i.e. below the Index finger, and the third type is curved up to Saturn mount i.e. below the middle finger, it might not reach up to the mount, but again we have to see the position of mount if it is placed right below the middle finger.

It is a well known fact that the heart has to do with feelings, relations, courage, fear, intuition, emotions, every time we receive a bad or good news, it is this heart that takes the extra load, it is this heart that fails when a native fails in his/her endeavours, it is this heart which cries when love fails, it is this heart that floats in ecstasy when something good happens, it is this place where the soul resides, it is this heart which skips a beat when startled, it is this heart that makes a man tough and week, it is this heart that makes a women sensitive, loving and senseless, barren, it is this heart that forces us to take all decisions based on our emotions, it is this heart that keeps us going when even the brain goes blank, it is this heart, where we feel the pain, when we loose something so dear to us, it is this heart which when activated by kundalini energy through the Anahatha Chakra, the fourth chakra in the astral body, beautiful cosmic music can be heard by the native, it is like someone had just opened a music shop in the heart, cosmic tunes flow through this astral point of our physical existence, it is this heart, where the four chambers are closed by a priest before commencing his prayer, so that no evil enters it and only divine energies pass or reside in it.

Sri Chinmoy's

HUMAN HEART AND DIVINE HEART

A sacred heart
Is God's inspiration.
A secret heart
Is man's imagination.
A crying heart
Is man s illumination.
A self-giving heart
Is God s realization.
A surrendered human heart
Reaches God's transcendental Heights
A perfect and manifested heart
Is the pride of God's Reality-dream.
A surrendered divine heart
Is the smile of the Absolute Supreme.

Fig P4A 1 to 6 shows various types of lines of Heart, no1 shows a thin line with pale color, mostly found in weak or soft feminine hands, no 2 shows pink and thin line, found mostly in normal people, no 3 shows dark colored but normal depth, found in careful but active individuals, no 4 shows pale colored but thick line, found in weak but stressed individuals, no 5 shows a normal person but stressed, no 6 shows dark colored and thick line, mostly seen in very rough hands with thick palm skin, very active, aggressive individuals, also sometime over strained, stress is because of biting more than they can chew, or taking too much load, so the native is stressed and strained mostly physical.

A good line of Heart is as shown in Fig P4B1, with finely curved and well placed between the base of fingers and the line of Intelligence, proper colour, depth and length, which would mean that the native is blessed with a very well balanced physical, mental, emotional and practical side, so definitely he/she will have very good physique and nature, provided the line is not punctuated with marks, crosses and breaks.

Extreme cases of this line are, first, in case of Simian (Fig P4B5) natives where there is no distinct heart line and line of intelligence, and the second one is a pink coloured, clear, fine line without any ridges, finely curved till the base of the index finger ( Fig P4B3), the native is endowed with a very good heart and physical ability, I would say a heart full of energy to live a good and healthy life, well governed by the Jupiter, that means very balanced and well choreographed life, a well placed line below the four mounts, Mercury, Apollo, Saturn and Jupiter suggests a very balanced heart, the gap between the base of the fingers and the line of heart, and the gap between the line of heart and line of intelligence should be equal, this also suggests a very balanced individual.

If the gap below the line of heart is smaller than the gap above it, then the individual suffers from confusion between the heart and brain matters, in a way stuck between two extremes practical and emotional sides of his character, but the positive side of this aspect is, the sex life of this native is bound to be very fulfilling and complete, if the gap above the line of heart is smaller than the gap below it than the native suffers from lack of emotional side and the life is more practical and even the sex life also becomes a matter of biological need. if the line is too straight and stops abruptly below the mount of Saturn or sometimes below the mount of Mercury or mount of Apollo, then the native is more interested in worldly affairs like, accumulating wealth, fame, material benefits, and will have less inclination towards sensual attractions, if the line is too much curved than the native is obsessed with the sensual attractions and will strive hard to fulfill those, a normal curve reaching the point between the Index finger and the middle finger, such a native will be balanced in both the material and sensual attractions, but if such a line reaches the mount of Saturn, than the native will be very disciplined in his dealing with opposite Sex and also will maintain a good material living, will be inclined towards accumulation and will strive hard to attain or retain the status, If the line ends up in the mount area of Jupiter i.e. below the Index finger the native will be very clear and clean in his dealings with the opposite Sex and will have inclination towards learning and preaching or teaching the good texts even in the heart matters, a sex therapist.

Fig P4C shows various types of lines of heart with afflictions in other wise a very normal and good line of heart, no1 has a break in the line below the possible position of mount of Saturn, meaning that the native at that time point lacked the discipline, energy for material accumulations, instead the Saturn made him to look at the romantic side of life, all practicalities vanished and the life would be more like a dream, floating through unreality's, but once the native is grounded back to the grave realities of the life, the touch down would not be very smooth, the same gap if it is below the Jupiter, then the ethics, and principles might take a nose dive, below Apollo mount, fame and popularity will vanish, and below Mercury mount the business, public affairs, and communications with everyone, especially with the opposite sex might take a fall. Similar results or phala can be derived from the lines if they stop below the different mounts or fingers as shown in figures, P4C1,2,3 and 4.

Fig P4C5 shows the longing for parental love from almost every individual he/she meets in the public life, and this native will deal with others in similar manner, he would like to be a parent of everyone around him/her, and this depends on the age of the native, no 6 shows too many jerks in the natives emotional life causing too much emotional stress, but the line kept regaining its form after every jolt, lot of energy was pulled in to sustain the external jolts, a reverse of this situation is loss of energy to sustain the jolts, in this case the native would suffer from severe and frequent energy loss, and would need frequent energy supplements to continue.

Fig P4D shows various normal lines of Heart punctuated with various signs and marks, some are favourable and some are not, a dot or a black spot is a very bad sign in a line of Heart, it suggest possible block in the pumping station, a circle shows internal flooding, small lines leaving the line of Heart, loss of energy, small lines joining the line of Heart, gaining energy, and a cross, contradicting energies joining and then leaving the native high and dry, in that area of life, again determined by the mount under which the cross or the sign appears, few ( 3 to 4 parallel lines above the line of Heart and below the base of fingers are a good sign in that area of life, it shows multiple avenues available to reap the benefits.

A whorl below the Apollo finger (Fig P4D6) is a sign of excellent Intuitive mental capacities, a whorl in the Jupiter mount or below the Index finger is a sign for opportunities in the area of love and romance, possibly leading to love marriages, a bifurcated line of Heart below the Jupiter mount also suggests similar ending.

Basically the heart is a parameter to measure the depth of emotions and emotional and physical strengths in an individual, join the two hands together and see if the two lines of Heart make a nice curve, this would suggest that the Heart is in place. No curve and too much curve are again two extremities, a straight line would suggest the Heart needs tuning.

Conclusions about one's life direction should be made by studying the fate line, Line of Intelligence and Heart, but over all life pattern can only be deduced after studying all the main, minor lines and other signs of the palm.

More to follow ..............by the way all the palm prints were drawn on my younger daughter Nicki Ianala's hand, she loved it.

Line of Intelligence: Part I

ॐ श्री गुरावे नमः !

Line of Intelligence is popular as "Head line", as the name suggests it concerns head activity, I prefer "line of intelligence" as it has do with the brain/intelligence of the native, and the head line is the second most important line after the fate line, this line starts between the index finger and the thumb, mostly it emerges with the life line, and it travels from right to left in the right hand and from left to right in the left hand dividing the palm into two half's, three very basic types of lines are one straight (less common), second is straight up to middle of the palm and then curves upwards towards the percussion side of the palm, and the third type is straight till middle of the palm and then curves downward towards the lunar mount (most common but the length of the line varies).

Extreme cases of this line are, first, a very short line emerging below the index finger, independent from the life line and stops below the Saturn finger, this native had very difficult childhood without any parental support, then he suffered from frequent head aches and has a tendency to take things in a rash manner, I would say it is very primitive brain, lacking sensitivity, which could not develop and had gone through multiple trauma during early childhood, and ultimately the adulthood also suffers, interestingly the fate line also suffers due this shortcoming.

Second is a very fine, lengthy head line ending in the percussion side of the palm, mostly curved downwards and reaching up to the base of the palm in the lunar mount, this is high side of intelligence, everything is refined to the highest level, highly creative, highly imaginative but sometimes with a tendency to suffer from illusions, but again is gifted to reach the unknown or untouched spheres of life, highly sensitive, highly evolved brain sometimes not suitable for routine life, or normal life, such natives are lost in their own worlds and have the ability to create/invent and indulge in thoughts, which a normal or logical brain cannot, I would say a very gifted intelligentsia but the native needs to guard his feelings and encapsulate himself in a artificial thick skin to safe guard his/her interests
.

Fig P3A 1 to 6 shows various types of lines of intelligence, no 1 shows a thin line with pale color, mostly found in weak or soft feminine hands, no 2 shows pink and thin line, found mostly in normal people, no 3 shows dark colored but normal depth, found in careful but active individuals, no 4 shows pale colored but thick line, found in weak but stressed individuals, no 5 shows a normal person but stressed, no 6 shows dark colored and thick line, mostly seen in very rough hands with thick palm skin, very active, aggressive individuals, also sometime over strained, stress is because of biting more than they can chew, or taking too much load, so the native is stressed and strained, mostly these individuals are very emotional, the best line one can have in active individuals is line of intelligence close to appearance as shown in Fig P3A5 and Fig P3A2 in case of inactive males and most of the females resp.

A good line of intelligence is as shown in Fig P3B1, with straight direction, proper colour, depth and length =, which would mean that the native is blessed with a very well balanced intelligence in terms of the emotional and logical senses, so definitely he/she will have good education, good grasping power, memory, analytical ability, good creativity and logical sense, and above all very well placed common sense, provided the line is not punctuated with marks, crosses and breaks.

A line of intelligence (Fig P3B2) starting with the life line and then travels straight up to the point below the ring finger and then takes the upward direction towards the percussion side of the palm, it suggests that the native is endowed with a very balanced mind but he/she depends more on his/her logical prowess than their emotional senses, in a similar situation if the line travels towards the Lunar mount, Fig P3B3, it would suggest that the native though endowed with a very superior intelligence depends more on his/her emotional senses than the logical prowess, and the penetration of the line of intelligence in to the lunar mount would enhance the dependence on the emotional senses, this native is bound to be very creative, and will have a exemplary imagination, but some times it might cause him/her worry, for being too imaginative and the native is influenced by the moon as the mind is controlled by the moon, so the natives mind will behave like a lunar cycle or ocean tides.

Line of intelligence as shown in Fig P3B4 & P3B5 belong to individuals who are very versatile and very controlled, they can be very logical and at the same time very emotional or might incline towards romanticism, yet might live a very practical life, and these individuals are jack of all trades, masters of many languages, subjects, they fare equally well in mathematics and at the same time excel in philosophy, in a way they are versatile by all means (Author of this blog has head line similar to Fig P3B5). the last one no 6 is a very normal and healthy head line.

Fig P3C1 -3 depicts different lengths of line of intelligence, in such cases one should also look for the length of fate line, heart line and life line to determine the longevity and health of the native, a normal hand by all means with a very short head line would only suggest that the development of the brain stopped or started very late or started very early but stopped, and the such lines of intelligence will definitely mar the educative and learning capacities of the native, no 4 is a simian line, where the heart line and head line merge into a single line traversing from left to right in a left hand, and right to left in right hand, individuals with such a line lead a very normal life and do not suffer from dilemma' while taking emotional or logical decisions.

No 5 is a line of intelligence running very close to the life line and then stopped, suggesting that the native needed long parental care and the development of brain is totally dependent on the parental behaviour or environment created by the parents. No 6 shows various points of emergence of head line, the middle one is the normal one.

Fig P3D shows the emotionally inclined line of intelligence and the initiation of curve below the little, ring or Saturn finger, which means that the individual will exercise his creativity and imaginative talents in suggested fields of his/her life, little finger is for relations, business, communications, ring finger is for fame, authority, government deals, and Saturn finger is for materialistic life. No 4 shows a versatile line of intelligence with cause for such a development, and no 5 again shows versatile line of intelligence but creativity and imagination limited to the artistic fields, and No 6 shows change in learning directions from science to arts, arts to science, maths to philosophy, etc.

Fig P3E1 to 6 show various types of lines of intelligence merging and separating from the life line, no 1 is a normal and most common pattern, which clearly suggests that the native got his parental care and then as he/she grew the development of brain become independent, no 2 shows little longer parental care or attached development, no 3 is in those kids who live with their parents but do not see them often, like they spend most of their initial years in the care of others, no 4 shows separate line of intelligence and life line, this is found in kids separated from parents after their births or is seen in the hands of orphans and abandoned kids, but only if all these kids never got any kind of human care, so the development of the brain is independent right from the birth, no 5 is similar but little closer, and no 6 shows a island or a circle, this is found in those hands where some kind of enigma or mystery is attached with the birth of the native, parental care is not a problem.

Fig P3F1 is a normal hand showing, line of intelligence crossed by fate line and life line, no 2 shows a gap, which means a gap in education or learning process due to a unforeseen event in the family, no 3 shows a circle or island, meaning a block but the native could steer clear by avoiding the problem, no 4 shows a cross in the initial point of the line of intelligence, meaning, there was a difference of opinion in taking the decision to bring the native to this world and if taken at a higher level, it means multiple life purpose, no 5 shows a cross, meaning versatility at the end of the development, no 6 shows change in learning interests and break in learning process at the same time but the interest got protected.

Fig P3G1 shows various possible marks or signs, a dot would mean complete block in the energy flow so it would definitely result in some kind of mental trauma to the native, if present in the fate line and life line at the same time pint, it should be considered seriously. a cross above the head line below the Saturn finger or the Ring finger is a mystic cross present in mystics with enhanced intuitive minds, no 2 and 3 are head line crossed by influence lines, no 4 a cross above the line of intelligence below the index finger or the Jupiter mount suggests possible love marriage, no 5 shows a whorl below the line of intelligence in the lower mars mount, which indicates that the native has a very controlled emotional temper and is able to keep his cool even in a very grave situation and also is able to keep a cap on the anger, and fathers blessing are also available, no 6 is a simian line. no 4 also shows few perpendicular` lines touching the line of intelligence from below in upper mars and lower mars area, these are influence of mother and father in day to day life of the native or in the development of the native.

Individuals with thick and dark lines should take precautions and practise meditation, yoga orPranayama to reduce the stress and strain, and try to relax in difficult situations, this will reduce the load on the brain and the energy pull will go much smoother, in case of thin and pale lines, the individuals should take up some physical activity or some mentally challenging tasks, it would help them develop further.

Conclusions about one's life direction should be made by studying the fate line and head line as far as materialistic life is concerned, but over all life pattern can only be deduced after studying all the main and minor lines of the palm.
