Yuvati Bhava- 7th House-House of Spouse/Business/Protection

ॐ श्री गुरावे नमः !
ॐ नमः शिवाय!

The 7th house or the Yuvati bhava: (Yuvati = Woman) is one of the most important house, the natural 7th house is Libra and the lord of the 7th house is Venus, and Venus is also the natural karaka for marriage, or spouse.

Yuvati Bhava: Relates to marriage, marital life, life partner, long journeys, partners, business, death, the portion of the body below the navel.

Effects of Yuvati bhava; BPHS

1. O excellent of the Brahmins, listen to me detailing the effects of the 7th house.

If Yuvati Lord is in his own Rasi, or in exaltation, one will derive full happiness through his wife (and marriage).

2. Sick Wife.

Should Yuvati Lord be in Ari 6th, Randhra 8th, or Vyaya 12th house, the wife will be sickly. This however does not apply to own Bhava, or exaltation placement, as above.
3. Excessive·Libidinousness/Death·of·Wife.

If Sukra is in Yuvati, the native will be exceedingly libidinous. If Sukra yuti a malefic in any Bhava, it will cause loss of wife.

4-5. THE 7TH LORD.

Should Yuvati Lord be endowed with strength and be yuti with, or be drishtied by a benefic, the native will be wealthy, honorable, happy and fortunate.

Conversely, if Yuvati Lord is in fall, or is combust, or is in an enemy’s Rasi, one will acquire sick wives and many wives.

6. PLURALITY OF WIVES.

If Yuvati Lord is in a Rasi of Sani (Saturn), or of Sukra (Venus) and be drishtied by a benefic, there will be many wives. Should Yuvati Lord be particularly in exaltation, the same effects will come to pass.

7-8½. Miscellaneous MATTERS.

The native will befriend barren females, if Surya (Sun) is in Yuvati. Chandra (Moon) therein will cause association with such female, as corresponding to the Rasi, becoming Yuvati. Mangal (Mars) placed in Yuvati, will denote association with marriageable girls (those with menses), or with barren females.

Budh indicates harlots, mean females and females, belonging to traders’ community.
Wife of a Brahmin, or a pregnant female will be in the native’s association, if Guru is in Yuvati. Base females and females, having attained their courses, are denoted by Sani (Saturn), Rahu/Ketu in Yuvati.

8-9½. Mangal (Mars) denotes a female with attractive breasts. Sani (Saturn) indicates sick and weak spouse. Guru (Jupiter) will bring a spouse with hard and prominent breasts. Sukra ( Venus) will bring one with bulky and excellent breasts.

10-13½. Malefics in Vyaya and 7th, while decreasing Chandra is in Putra denote, that the native will be controlled by spouse, who will be inimical to the race (or family).

If Yuvati Bhava is occupied, or owned by Sani/Mangal, the native will beget a harlot, as his spouse, or he will be attached to other illegally. Should Sukra be in a Navamsa of Mangal, or in a Rasi of Mangal, or receive a Drishti from, or be yuti with Mangal, the native will “kiss” the private parts of the female.

If Sukra is so related to Sani, the native will “kiss” the private parts of the male.

14-15. WORTHY SPOUSE.

The native will beget a spouse endowed with (the seven principal) virtues, who will expand his dynasty by sons and grandsons, if the 7th Lord is exalted, while Yuvati is occupied by strong Lagna Lord and a benefic.

16. EVILS TO SPOUSE.

If Yuvati Bhava, or its Lord is yuti with a malefic the native’s wife will incur evils, especially, if Yuvati Bhava, or its Lord is bereft of strength.

17. LOSS OF SPOUSE.

If Yuvati Lord is devoid of strength and is relegated to Ari 6th, Randhra 8th, or Vyaya 12th, or, if Yuvati Lord is in fall, the native’s wife will be destroyed (i.e. she will die early).

18. LACK OF CONJUGAL FELICITY.

If Chandra is in Yuvati, as Yuvati Lord is in Vyaya and the Karaka (indicator Sukra) is bereft of strength, the native will not be endowed with marital happiness.

19-21. PLURALlIY OF WIVES.

One will have two wives, if Yuvati Lord is in fall, or in a malefic Rasi along with a malefic, while Yuvati Bhava, or the 7th Navamsa belong to a eunuch planet.

If Mangal and Sukra are in Yuvati, or, if Sani is Yuvati, while the Lord of Lagna is in Randhra, the native will have 3 wives. There will be many wives, if Sukra is in a Dual Rasi, while its Lord is in exaltation, as Yuvati Lord is endowed with strength.

22. TIME OF MARRIAGE (upto Sloka 34).

If Yuvati Lord is in a benefic’s Bhava (or in Dharma, as Subha ( Auspicious) Rasi so means), while Sukra is exalted, or is in own Rasi, the native will get married at the age 5, or 9.

23. If Surya is in Yuvati, while its dispositor is yuti with Sukra, there will be marriage at 7th, or 11th year of age.

24. Sukra in Dhana, while Yuvati Lord is in Labha will give marriage at the age of 10, or 16.

25. Marriage will take place during the 11th year, if Sukra is in an angle from Lagna, while Lagna Lord is in Makar, or Kumbh.

26. The native will marry at 12, or l9, if Sukra is in an angle from the Lagna, while Sani is in Yuvati counted from Sukra.

27. Should Sukra be in Yuvati from Chandra, while Sani is in Yuvati from Sukra, marriage will be in the 18th year.

28. Marriage will be in the 15th year, if Dhana Lord is in Labha, while Lagna Lord is in Karma.

29. An exchange between the Lords of Dhana and Labha will bring marriage 13 years after birth.

30. Ones 22nd/27th year will confer marriage, if Sukra is in Yuvati from the 8th Bhava (i.e. Dhana from Lagna), while his dispositor is yuti with Mangal.

31. Should Yuvati Lord be in Vyaya, while the natal Lord is in Yuvati in Navamsa, marriage will be in 23rd/26th year of age.

32. Either the 25th year, or the 33rd year will bring marriage, if Randhra Lord is in Yuvati, as Sukra is in Navamsa Lagna.

33. Should Sukra be in Dharma from Dharma (i.e. in Putra Bhava), while Rahu is in one of the said Bhavas (i.e. in Putra/Dharma), marriage will take place during 31st, or 33rd year.
34. The native will marry at 30, or 27, if Sukra is in Lagna, while the 7th Lord is in Yuvati itself.

35-39. TIMING OF WIFE’S DEATH.

Loss of wife will occur in the 18th year, or 33rd year of age of the native, if Yuvati Lord is in fall, while Sukra is in Randhra.

One will lose his spouse in his 19th year, if Yuvati Lord is in the 8th, while Vyaya Lord is in Yuvati. The native’s wife will die within three days of marriage due to snake bite, if the native has Rahu in Dhana and Mangal in Yuvati.

If Sukra is in Randhra, while his depositor is in a Rasi of Sani, death of wife will take place during the native’s 12th, or 21st year of age. Should the ascendant Lord be in his Rasi of debilitation, as Dhana Lord is in Randhra, loss of wife will occur in the 13th year of age.

40-41. THREE MARRIAGES.

Should Chandra be in Yuvati from Sukra, while Budh is in Yuvati from Chandra and Randhra Lord is in Putra (from the Lagna), there will be marriage in Karma year (10) followed by another in the 22nd year and yet another in the 33rd year.

42. DEATH OF WlFE.

lf Ari, 7th and 8th are in their order occupied by Mangal, Rahu and Sani, the native’s wife will not live (long).

Note: Where ever it says "Wife", one should read it as "Spouse".

Kalyana Verma Saravali:

45 ABOUT THE 7th HOUSE.

If Jupiter, Moon, Venus and Mercury be in the 7th, in any manner (i.e. one of them, two, three, or all of them in the 7th), or other divisions falling in the 7th House, or, if the 7th House be in aspect to these, one will procure a wife corresponding to the planet/s and Rasi in question.

46. Should the 7th House contain malefics, or fall in malefic planets' divisions, the wife of the native will be destroyed (i.e. adversely affected). These results can be deduced from the Ascendant and the Moon, the stronger of them having more significance. If the Moon be in the 7th (from the Ascendant) along with Saturn, the native will marry a widow.

47. The number of wives will correspond to the number of heavenly bodies aspecting the 7th, or the Navamsa past in the 7th House. There will be a single wife, if Leo, Aries, or Scorpio rise in Navamsa, or, if Mercury and Jupiter join together in the 7th House.

48. If the 7th House has many divisions of Venus and the Moon, or is occupied by these two, there will be plurality of wives. Specially Venus in the 7th will cause such an effect.
49. Jupiter and Venus related to the 7th House will confer a bride of the same caste, while the Sun, Mars, Saturn and the Moon denote a female belonging to a mean order. As per Ketumalacharya, Venus and Moon related to the 7th House will cause relationship with whores.

50-51. Mars in the 7th House will make one go devoid of wife ( Lord Shri Rama also had Mars in 7th and we know the Ramayana, he is separated form his wife Sita devi for many many years and then again when the Demon King Ravana is killed and everything becomes peaceful, he sends his wife away suspecting her chastity, so anyway they remain separated). If he is, while so posited in aspect to only Saturn, the wife will certainly pass away.

Should Mars and Venus be together in the 7th, or 5th, or 9th, the native will beget a languid, or deformed wife.

52. It is the unanimous opinion of all the sages, that, if the Moon and the Sun are, respectively, in the 12th and the 6th, both the native and his wife will be one-eyed.

53. If Saturn occupies the Ascendant, while Venus is in the 7th identical with Ganda Rasi and the 5th is bereft to beneficial aspect, the person acquires a barren wife.

54-55. One will be devoid of a wife and an issue, if malefics occupy the Ascendant, 12th and 7th, while decreasing Moon is in the 5th. Both the native and his wife will be immoral, if the 7th in aspect to Mars and Saturn. House falls in the various divisions of Saturn and Mars, while Venus is posited in the 7.

56. When the 7th House is occupied by Mercury and Venus, the native will be bereft of both wife and progeny. If however this combination receives the aspect of a benefic, there will be obtainment of a wife at an advanced age.

57. Should the Moon, along with even one of Mercury, Jupiter and Venus, be in the 7th, the native will be opulent.

Note: The numbers as prefix are the serial number of the Sanskrit Sholakas related with each translated statement.

Grah/Planets in Yuvati bhava- 7th House and their effects

If the Sun is posited in 7th, the native will be poor, insulted, will suffer bodily diseases, royal displeasure's and imprisonment, will take to bad ways and will not be well-disposed to his wife.

If the Moon is in 7th, the native will be amiable, happy, will possess a good physique and be sensuously disposed. If the weak Moon is in 7th, the native will be pitiable and weak.

If Mars is posited in 7th, the native will lose his wife, will suffer from diseases, will take to bad ways, be miserable, sinful, devoid of wealth, distressed and emaciated.

If Mercury is in 7th, the natives wife will be very learned, beautiful in appearance, will not be of good descent, will promote quarrels and be very affluent. The native himself will be very great.

If Jupiter occupies the 7th, the native will be charming, will acquire a beautiful wife, be greater than his father, be an eloquent speaker, a poet, a superior person and be learned and famous.

If Venus occupies the 7th, the native will be very beautiful, be happy with his wife, will enjoy great riches, be devoid of quarrels and be fortunate.

If Saturn is posited in the 7th, the native will always be subjected to ill health, will lose his wife, be bereft of wealth, will present himself ugly, be sinful and will do very mean acts.

If Rahu is posited in 7th Bhava: The spouse might be from a foreign land or might belong to lower class, Marriage represents entitlement to satisfy a personal desire at the expense of social stability.

Spouse may be entirely successful but the foreign behaviours are a permanent source of change and movement in the natives life. Excellent for international business negotiations, where the spouse becomes a significant partnering asset.

Also good for counseling/advising for multi-cultural and taboo relationships.

If Ketu is posited in the 7th Bhava: Ketu does not obstruct marriage but keeps the native in a restless dissatisfaction with the spouse, or the native might have a disconnected, inappropriate or unavailable spouse, Ketu is the tail of the Serpent "Naga", it belongs to no one, has no power, the spouse might be withdrawn, often narcissistic or so concerned with their own selves that they cannot participate in partnerships. This can be very tiring to the native since, the mind would always be worried about something or other regarding the spouse, and the spouse will be in a very difficult position, a patient and loving spouse can tax himself and a careless and mindless spouse can ruin the relationship, but Ketu does not take the native to that extent, Rahu will be pulling him the other corner in exactly the opposite direction.

Here we are just seeing the 7th house and not marriage, because to deduce the combinations for marriage, health of marriage, spouse, type of spouse, longevity of the marriage, dangers to the marriage, no of marriages etc. can be seen from many other angles, 7th house just tells us about the Spouse in general and relations with business partners. etc.

The most appropriate planet for a very beautiful marriage would be auspicious Venus in 7th and that 7th house should be either Pisces (Venus exalted) or Libra (Venus own house and Moolatrikona) , with Shukla paksha Moon, and a shubha dhristi of Jupiter from Gemini or Jupiter in Cancer (Jupiter exalted) and similar combination should be present in the Navamsa, Jupiter disciplines Venus and the Moon adds its charm, and Venus as its is adds feminine beauty.

Note: Rather it is a warning, this is for parents, please don't try to find a short cut to match the charts of your children and get into a vicious circle, :-) because life of two individuals is at stake, and it is them who have to live that life together, or best thing don't match the charts, just go for it like in west, :-) and many women they come with questions like I want to check the chart of my boy friend, :-) If you are in love please don't check the charts unless there is some serious problem, :-) because once you check and find out one of you have Moola Nakshatra then your parents will panic. :-)) checking charts is strictly for arranged marriages only, where parents go looking for brides or bridegrooms, and not for people in love.

Putra Bhava, 5th house

ॐ श्री गुरावे नमः !
ॐ नमः शिवाय!

Putra Bhava: The straight meaning of this term is house of son, but it relates to children, poorvapunya (good deeds from all previous births), intelligence, knowledge, scholarship, devotion, mantras, (prayers), stomach, digestive system, authority.power, fame, love, affection, emotions, judgement, speculation.

When we say children it includes every type of child, all depending on the grah/planets posited /aspecting/conjoined and the house itself, there is a direct relation, this house also tells us about our past good deeds, or punya karma, If one has children one can infer directly that one did have purva punya, particularly if those children are girls.

5th house/Putra bhava is one of the important houses along with Ascendant, Yuvati bhava, dharma bhava, Karma bhava and Labha bhava.

Effects of Putra Bhava - 5th House. BPHS

1-3. O Brahmin, now I tell you the effects, related to Putra Bhava (5th House).
If the Lords of Lagna and Putra are in their own Rasis, or in an angle, or in a trine, one will enjoy thorough happiness through his children.

Should Putra’s Lord be in Ari (6th), Randhra (8th), or Vyaya Bhava (12th), there will be no offspring.

Should the Lord of Putra be combust (Posited very close to Sun), or be with malefics and be weak, there will be no children; even, if per chance issues are obtained, they will only quit the world soon.

The Yuti of Putra’s Lord with Lagna’s Lord in a good Bhava will ensure early obtainment of children apart from happiness through them. If they join in an evil Bhava, they will prove a defect in this respect.

4. If Putra’s Lord is in Ari Bhava, as Lagna’s Lord is yuti (Conjoined) with Mangal, the native will lose his very first child, where after his female will not be fertile to yield an offspring.

5. Should Putra’s Lord be in fall in Ari, Randhra, or Vyaya Bhava, while Budh and Ketu are in Putra Bhava, the natives wife will give birth to one child only.

6. If Putra’s Lord is in fall and be not in Drishti to Putra, while Sani (Saturn) and Budh are in Putra, the native’s wife will give birth to one child only.

7. Should Dharm’s Lord be in Lagna, while Putra’s Lord is in fall and Ketu is in Putra along with Budh, obtainment of progeny will be after a great deal of ordeal.

8. If Putra’s Lord is in Ari, Randhra, or Vyaya Bhava, or be in an inimical Rasi, or be in fall, or in Putra itself, the native will beget issues with difficulty.

9. Should Putra Bhava be owned by Sani (Saturn), or Budh and be occupied, or drishtied by Śani and Mandi, one will have adopted issues.

10. Should Surya and Chandra be together in a Rasi and in the same Navamsa, the native will be brought up by three mothers, or two fathers.

11. Adopted issue is indicated, if Putra is tenanted by six Grahas, while its Lord is in Vyaya Bhava and Chandra and Lagna are endowed with strength.

12. There will be many children, if Putra’s Lord is strong, while Putra is drishtied by strong Budh, Guru and Sukra.

13. If Putra’s Lord is with Chandra, or is in her Decanate, the native will beget daughters; so say Jyotishis (Astrologers).

14. If Putra’s Lord is in a Movable Rasi, while Sani (Saturn) is in Putra, as Rahu is with Chandra, the child (so born) is of questionable birth.

15. Undoubtedly the native is born of other’s loins, if Chandra is in the 8th from Lagna, while Guru is in the 8th from Chandra. Malefic’s Drishti, or Yuti is essential in this Yog.
16. If Putra’s Lord is exalted, or be in Dhana, Putra, or Dharma Bhava, or be yuti with, or drishtied by Guru, obtainment of children will be there.

17. One will obtain children, that will indulge in mean deeds, if Putra is occupied by three, or four malefics, while Putra’s Lord is in fall. A benefic (including Budh) in Putra is excluded in the said combination.

18. If Putra is occupied by Guru, while its Lord is with Sukra, one will obtain an offspring in his 32nd, or 33rd year.

19. Should Putra’s Lord be in an angle along with Guru, the Karak, one will beget a child at the age of 30, or 36.

20. If Guru is in Dharm Bhava, while Sukra is in the 9th from Guru along with Lagna’s Lord, one will beget a child at the age of 40.

21. The native will at the age of 32 lose his child, if Rahu is in Putra, Putra’s Lord is in Yuti with a malefic and Guru is in debilitation.

22. There will be loss of children at 33 and 36, if a malefic is in the 5th from Guru, while another is in the 5th from Lagna.

23. Should Mandi be in Lagna, while Lagna’s Lord is in fall, grief on account of loss of child at the age of 56 will come to pass.

24-32. Number of Children.

There will be 10 sons, if Bandhu Bhava and Ari Bhava are occupied by malefics, while Putra’s Lord is in deep exaltation, joining Lagna’s Lord, as Guru is with another benefic.
Nine will be the number of sons, that one will beget, if Guru is in deep exaltation, as Rahu is with Dhana’s Lord and Dharm is occupied by its own Lord.

There will be eight sons, if Guru is in Putra, or Dharm Bhava, while Putra’s Lord is endowed with strength and Dhan’s Lord is in Karma Bhava.

Sani in Dharm Bhava, while Putra’s Lord is in Putra itself, gives 7 sons, out of which twins will be born twice.

If Putra’s Lord is in Putra in Yuti with Dhana’s Lord, there will be birth of 7 sons, out of which 3 will pass away.

Only one son is denoted, if there be a malefic in Putra Bhava, while Guru is in the 5th from Sani, or vice versa.

If Putra Bhava has a malefic in it, or, if Sani is in the 5th from Guru, the native will beget offspring only through his second, or third wife.

Should Putra be occupied by a malefic, while Guru is yuti with Sani in Putra Bhava, as Lagna’s Lord is in Dhana Bhava and Putra’s Lord is yuti with Mangal, one will live long, but lose his children one after the other, as they are born.

Kalyana Verma's Saravali : Putra Bhava

ABOUT THE 5th HOUSE.

If the 5th House contains a benefic, or is aspected by a benefic, or be a benefic's Rasi, the native will surely beget children. If it is different, he will not obtain progeny. If the 5th House counted from the Moon, or the Ascendant, the stronger prevailing, has at least one Jupiter's division in the various Varga calculations, or has a benefic's Rasi in it and is aspected by a benefic, the native will have legitimate issue.

NUMBER OF CHILDREN.

If the Navamsa of the 5th falls in a benefic's Rasi the number of children equals the number of Navamsa past in the 5th House. The aspect of a benefic on the 5th Bhava doubles the number, while malefic Rasi, as 5th House Navamsa and the said House receiving a malefic's aspect confers progeny with difficulty.

AUTHORIZING OTHER KINSMAN TO RAISE PROGENY FOR THE NATIVE.

If the 5th House containing Mercury in it and is in aspect to Saturn, but without the aspect of the others, as cited above. House falls in the divisions (like Rasi, Navamsa, drekkana etc.) of Saturn and be with Mercury's aspect, but without that of Jupiter/Mars/Sun, the native obtains progeny by authorizing his kinsman to raise the same for him from his (the natives) wife. Similar result prevails, if Mercury's Rasi be in the 5.

ADOPTED OR BOUGHT PROGENY.

If the 5th House belongs to Saturn and be occupied by Saturn himself with the aspect of the Moon, one procures a child by adoption, or by an act of purchase. Identical effect follows the position of Mercury in the 5th House owned by him receiving the Moon's aspect.

ADOPTION SANS CONSENT.

Should the 5th House contain Saturn with out any aspect from others and fall in a Sapthamsa (D-7) owned by Mars, the native will adopt a grown up child without the consent of its natural parents.

BASE CHILDREN.

If the 5th House contains the Sun and falls in the divisions of Saturn receiving the aspect of Mars, the children so obtained will be abject. Should the Moon be in the 5th House and receive exclusively Saturn's aspect, while the 5th House falls in a Navamsa of Mars, even then the progeny will be foolish and base.

If the 5th House is occupied by Mars falling in many of Saturn's divisions and be in aspect to the Sun, one will obtain a son, that is adopted by a stranger after its being cast off by its original parents, so says sage Karuna.

ISSUE BY A REMARRIED WIDOW.

Should the 5th House fall in Saturn's Vargas and contain both the Moon and Saturn therein, in aspect to both the Sun and Venus, progeny will be begotten by a widow given to the native in remarriage.

PROGENY BY A VIRGIN.

Should the Moon be in the 7th along with the Sun, or the Moon being in the 5th in aspect to, or in the company of the Sun, one will obtain issue through an unmarried girl.

PROGENY BY A WOMAN PREGNANT AT MARRIAGE.

If the 5th House falls in the divisions of the Luminaries and contains the Moon and the Sun in aspect to Venus only, one will have progeny by a woman, who will already be pregnant at the time of marriage.

ISSUELESSNESS.

If the 5th House falls in a malefic's Sign and be occupied by strong malefics without benefic's aspect, the native will be childless.

PROGENY BY A FEMALE SLAVE.

If the 5th House be in a Navamsa of Venus and be aspected by Venus, one will beget progeny by a female servant. Some scholars opine, that even, if the Moon's Navamsa and the Moon so come in the picture, the said effects will come to pass.

SONS AND DAUGHTERS.

When the 5th House has exclusively the divisions of the Moon and Venus and be with aspects of Venus and the Moon alone, or be occupied by these two alone, or, when the said House has the divisions of only even Signs, the native will beget only female children. In a contrary situation, (i.e. 5th House falling in divisions of odd Signs only and be excluded from the occupation, or aspect of Venus and the Moon but others), there will be birth of only male children.

CHILDLESSNESS.

When the Moon occupies the 10th House, Venus is in the 7th and malefics are in the 4th, the natives dynasty does not descend any further.

LOSS OF CHILDREN.

Should Mars be in the 5th, the children of the native will pass away, as they are born. However, if Jupiter, or Venus lend aspect to the said position, the loss relates only to the first child. If all planets aspect (the said Mars), then there is no loss at all of children.

SPECIAL EFFECTS.

Should the 5th House be occupied exclusively by malefics, the native will be devoid of wealth, own men and happiness. If Mars is in the 5th House, he will be distressed (or deformed). Saturn so posited denotes sickness. The occupations of Mercury, Jupiter, or Venus will confer abundant happiness and wealth.

Effects of Grah/Planets in 5th house or Putra bhava.

If the Sun occupies the 5th, the native will be bereft of happiness, sons and wealth, will live by husbandry, will move in hills and fortresses, be fickle-minded, scholarly, devoid of strength and be short-lived.

If the Moon be in 5th, the native will be timid in disposition, will earn learning, clothes and food, will have many sons and friends, be a scholar and be passionate.

If Mars occupies the 5th, the native will be devoid of happiness, wealth and sons, be fickle-minded, be a talebearer, will incur evils, be wicked, distressed and mean.

If Mercury occupies the 5th, the native will be an expert in Mantras (sacred spells) and Abhicāra (malevolent spells), will have many sons, be endowed with learning, happiness and efficacy and be delighted.

If Jupiter occupies the 5th, the native will have abundant happiness, many sons and friends, be learned, courageous, wealthy and will always be happy.

If Venus is posited in the 5th, the native will be endowed with happiness, sons and friends, be fond of sexual union, be very affluent, full of everything and be a minister, or a justice.

If Saturn in the 5th Bhava: Should Saturn occupy the 5th Bhava, the native will be bereft of happiness, sons, friends, intelligence and kindness, be agitated and be poor.

If Rahu in 5th Bhava:

Underclass or foreign attributes of the children, Rahu in a Rasi of Mercury and Shani may deny children all together, though there might be a great desire for children, conception and development of children might happen in very peculiar circumstances, and yet the children might become the source of happiness and might become famous and distinguished in their culture, possibility of foreign adoption, or might get involved in raising own grandchildren.

If Ketu in 5th Bhava

Ketu will reduce the happiness one is supposed to get from the children and the effects will be like separation between the parents and the children, the native suffers from his own thoughts, hence suffering, mental and physical, the native might be weak, crafty, timid, impatient, jealous and might not have any interest what so ever in religion and travel

General understanding should be like, if the house is male or female, the lord of the 5th house is male or female, the planets occupying the 5th house are male or female, if there is any aspect from male planets like Jupiter, Sun, Mars or females planets like Venus, or Moon, etc, the number of planets, etc  to deduce the sex and no of children and health and intelligence of the children.

If Lagna’s Lord is a benefic, while Bandhu’s Lord is in fall, or in Labha Bhava ( 11th House) and the significator (Sukra) is in Vyaya Bhava, the native will obtain conveyances in his 12th year.

It will be in the 42nd year, that one will be endowed with conveyances, if Bandhu’s Lord joins Karma’s Lord in his (4th Lord’s) exaltation Navamsa. An exchange between Labha’s and Bandhu’s Lords will confer conveyances in the 12th year.

A benefic, related to Bandhu Bhava (and to its Lord), will bring with him auspicious effects (regarding conveyances), while a malefic will produce only malefic effects (in respect of conveyances).

Should a benefic be in Bandhu, drishti Bandhu, or in yuti with the Lord of Bandhu, or a Drishti on the Lord of Bandhu Bhava, then the native will be happy with conveyances and be free from accidents and dangers.

A malefic, replacing the said benefic, will cause losses, concerning vehicles and reduce one to severe accidents. Should Surya be in Bandhu Bhava, as Bandhu’s Lord is exalted and be with Sukra, one will acquire conveyances in his 32nd year.

Miscellaneous.

Should Putra’s Lord (Lord of 5th house) be in his own Bhava, or in own Navamsa, or in exaltation, the native will be endowed with comforts, related to lands, conveyances, houses etc. and musical instruments.

Grah/Planets in Bandhu Bahava and their effects:

Should the Sun be in 4th, the native will be devoid of conveyances and relatives, will suffer heart diseases, will destroy paternal house and wealth and will serve a bad king.

If the Moon be in 4th, the native will be endowed with relatives, paraphernalia and conveyances, be charitable, fond of traveling by water and will neither be very happy nor be miserable.

If Mars is posited in 4th, the native will be devoid of relatives, paraphernalia and conveyances, be very miserable, will live in others' houses and be distressed.

If Mercury is in 4th, the native will be endowed with money and relatives, be fortunate, will have conveyances, all paraphernalia and relatives and be very learned.

If Jupiter occupies the 4th, the native will be endowed with relatives, paraphernalia, conveyance, happiness, intelligence, pleasures and wealth, be great and be a source of misery to his enemies.

If Venus occupies the 4th, the native will be endowed with relatives, friends and happiness, be splendourous, will have conveyances and paraphernalia, be beautiful, rich and fortunate.

If Saturn occupies the 4th, the native will suffer from heart disease, or be broken-hearted, be devoid of relatives, conveyances, wealth, intelligence and happiness, will suffer sickness in boyhood and will have (prominent) nails and hair.

If the Rahu is in 4th bhava:
The family home will be little unusual, various cultural influence, might live in a foreign land and drive a imported car.

Might vibrate with in extremes of the housing business and education, there might be sudden changes in the property ownership and might exaggerate his/her family lineage.

If the Ketu is 4th Bhava: All those things that are attached with the 4th house will be at risk of loss or the native will be in a state of frustrated situation, because of the atmosphere made available by the Ketu's effect, the parents might be torn apart and home will not be a home, and it willlack all the emotional comfort a child longs for during his/her growing years,

While deducing all the effects from these combinations consider the Grah Avastha and their positions also.

Sahaj Bhava- 3rd House- House of Co-borns

ॐ श्री गुरावे नमः !
ॐ नमः शिवाय!

The third house or the Sahaj Bhava relates with the younger co-borns.

1. Should Sahaj Bhava be yuti (Conjoined) with, or drishtied (Aspected) by a benefic, the native will be endowed with co-born and be courageous.
2. If Sahaj’s Lord along with Mangal (Mars) drishties Sahaj Bhava, the native will enjoy good results, due to Sahaj Bhava. Alternatively these two Grahas may be in Sahaj itself.
3. Destruction at once of co-born will come to pass, if the said 2 Grahas are together with a malefic, or in a Rasi, owned by a malefic.
4-4½.

Female and Male Co-born.

If Sahaj’s Lord (The lord of thrid house) is a female Grah, or, if Sahaj Bhava be occupied by female Grahas, one will have sisters, born after him. Similarly male Grahas and male Rasis denote younger brothers. Should it be of mixed nature, co-born of both sexes will be obtained. These effects be declared after assessing the strength and weakness of the concerned.

5-6. Should Sahaj’s Lord and Mangal be together in Randhr Bhava (8th house), destruction of co-born will result. Happiness in this respect will come to pass, if Mangal, or Sahaj’s Lord is in an angle, or in a trine, or in exaltation, or friendly divisions.

7-11. Number of Brothers and Sisters. If Budh is in Sahaj Bhava, while Sahaj’s Lord and Chandra are together, as the indicator (Mangal) joins Sani ( Saturn), the effects are: there occurred the birth of an elder sister and there will be younger brothers. Furthermore, the third brother will die. Should Mangal be yuti (Conjoined) with Rahu, while Sahaj’s Lord is in his debilitation Rasi, there will be loss of younger brothers and/or sisters, while three elder brothers and/or sisters were attained by the native. If Sahaj’s Lord is in an angle, while the significator (Mangal) is exalted in a trine and be yuti with Guru (Jupiter), 12 will be the number of total co-born. Out of these two elders and the 3rd, the 7th, the 9th and the 12th of the younger co-born will be shortlived, while six of the said twelve will be longlived.

12-13. There will be one co-born, if Vyaya’s Lord (some texts read, as Labha’s Lord) joins Mangal and Guru, while Sahaj Bhava is occupied by Chandra. If Chandra is lonely placed in Sahaj Bhava with Drishti of male Grahas, there will be younger brothers, while the Drishti of Sukra denotes younger sisters.

14. Adverse Grahas. Surya in Sahaj Bhava will destroy the preborn. The afterborn will be destroyed, if Sani (Saturn) is found in Sahaj Bhava. In the same situation Mangal will destroy both the preborn and later-born.

15. After estimating the strength and weakness of such Yogas, the effects, related to brothers and sisters, be announced.

Kalyan Verma's Saravali...

When the 3rd House is owned by a malefic and is occupied by a malefic, the co-born are destroyed. Conversely, a benefic's Sign being the 3rd and occupation of benefics therein will cause happiness thereof.

Now explained below is the method to ascertain the number of co-born. The number of Navamsas past in the 3rd House denotes the number of brothers following the native.

If other planets aspect the 3rd House, the said number (caused by Navamsas) stands increased. Saturn placed in the 3rd in aspect to Mars causes destruction of co-born. But Venus in the 3rd and in aspect to Jupiter increases happiness thereof.

Mercury placed in the 3rd House, in aspect to Mars (or in aspect to the Sun, as some texts read ‘Bhaskara Drishtah' instead of ‘Angaraka Drishtah'), the native's friends are destroyed.

Grah/Planets in 3rd House or Sahaj Bhava.

Should the Sun be in 3rd, the native will be valorous, strong, will lose co-born, be dear to people, good-looking, very learned and will conquer his enemies.

Should the Moon be in 3rd, the native will protect his co-born, be always delighted, valorous and will be endowed with learning, robes and food.

If Mars be in 3rd, the native will be courageous, unconquerable, bereft of co-born, be delighted, will have all virtues and be famous.

If Mercury occupies the 3rd, the native will always toil hard, be devoid of near and dear, skillful, endowed with co-born, very cunning and fickle-minded.

If Jupiter occupies the 3rd, the native will be greatly humiliated, be vile, ever successful, will have digestive deficiencies, be defeated by women and be sinful in acts.

If Venus occupies the 3rd, the native will be happy, rich, conquered by women, be vile, little enthusiastic and will be bereft of luck and paraphernalia.

If Saturn occupies the 3rd, the native will be dark in complexion, will maintain physical cleanliness, be base, will have indolent attendants, be courageous, charitable and will have great intelligence.

If Rahu occupies the 3rd: the mode of communication would be peculiar, excellent writer if L-5 and Budh are strong, strange ideas, travel to far lands, Can fabricate stories for instrumental purposes, but is also a great short-story writer, whether it is beneficial or not depends on Rahu's Lord.

Too out of place for conventional business, but may succeed as a trainer or a language teacher, The immediate younger sibling is odd or will have strong foreign interests, If Rahu is conjoined with malefics, the siblings mental health may be an issue of concern or it could be the Karaka for birth of twins.

If Ketu occupies the 3rd: The native will Loose contact and support of siblings, will suffer from weakness, courage, self-made wealth, neighbor, etc for an ultimately good results of calm inwardness would be required.

Might be a natural meditator, enables you to conquer your enemies, become quarrelsome, & gain wealth, you have few friends, constant pain in your hands, fear, anxiety, worry & instability.

Ketu can give much affluence but it will not let you sleep with peace of mind.

As per Lal Kitab Rahu in third house gives undue protection to the native from all problems....

Dhana Bhava- 2nd House-House of Wealth

ॐ श्री गुरावे नमः !

ॐ नमः शिवाय!

Dhan Bhava/Second house: relates with wealth, assets, family, speech, eyes, mouth, face, voice, food.

1-2. Combinations for Wealth.

If the Lord of Dhana is in Dhana bhava (second house), or is in an angle, or in trine, he will promote one’s wealth (or monetary state). Should he be in 6th/8th/12th, financial conditions will decline.

A benefic in Dhana bhava will give wealth, while a malefic instead will destroy wealth.
3. One will be wealthy, if Guru (Jupiter) is in Dhana bhava, as the Lord of Dhana, or is with Mangal (Mars).

4. If Dhana Lord is in Labha bhava, while the Lord of Labha in Dhana, wealth will be acquired by the native. Alternately these two Lords may join in an angle, or in a trine.

5. If the Lord of Dhana is in an angle, while Labha Lord is in a trine there of, or is drishtied by, or yuti (Conjoined) with Guru (Jupiter) and Sukra (Venus), the subject will be wealthy.

6-7. Yogas for Poverty. One will be penniless, if the Lord of Dhana Bhava is in an evil Bhava, while the Lord of Labha Bhava is also so placed and Dhana Bhava is occupied by a malefic. There will be penury right from birth and the native will have to beg even for his food, if the Lords of Dhana and Labha Bhava are both combust(Posited close to Sun), or with malefics.

8. Loss of Wealth through the King. Should the Lords of Dhana and Labha Bhava be relegated to Ari (6th), Randhra (8th), or Vyaya Bhava (12th), while Mangal is in Labha Bhava and Rahu is in Dhana Bhava, the native will lose his wealth on account of royal punishments.

9. Expenses on Good Accounts. When Guru is in Labha, Sukra is in Dhana and a benefic is placed in Vyaya Bhava, while Dhana’s Lord is yuti with a benefic, there will be expenses on religious, or charitable grounds.

10. Fame etc. If Dhana’s Lord is in own Rasi, or is exalted, the native will look after his people, will help others and also will become famous.

11. Effortless Aquisition. If Dhana’s Lord is yuti with a benefic and is in a good division, like Paravatans, there will be effortlessly all kinds of wealth in the native’s family.

(“Paravatansdau” of the text denotes Paravat, or such other higher Vargas: Dhan’s Lord should be in Paravatans, or in Devalokans, Brahmalokans, Sakravahanans, or Sridhamans in the Dash Varg scheme).

12. Eyes. If Dhana Lord is endowed with strength, the native will possess beautiful eyes. Should the said Graha be in Ari, Randhra, or Vyaya Bhava, there will be disease, or deformity of eyes.

13. Untruthful Person. If Dhana Bhava and its Lord are yuti with malefics, the native will be a talebearer, will speak untruth and will be afflicted by windy diseases.

Kalyana Verma's Saravali.

If Mars, Saturn and the Sun occupy the 2nd House, the natives wealth is destroyed.
If weak Moon aspects the 2nd House, such effects are more pronounced.
Mars and the Sun in the 2nd cause afflictions to skin apart from causing poverty.
If Saturn, posited alone in this House, is aspected by Mercury, he will be greatly rich.
Even, if the Sun is posited in the 2nd House in aspect to Saturn, without aspect of others, poverty will come to pass.

Benefics in the 2nd House cause advent of money in many ways.
But, if Jupiter posited in the 2nd House remains under Mercury's aspect, or Mercury so posited in the 2nd House in aspect to the Moon, the entire wealth earned by the native will be deprived.

Weak Moon in the 2nd House in Mercury's aspect denotes, that even the ancestral property will be destroyed; not only this, other sources of income will also be hindered.
Should the 2nd House [from the] Moon be aspected by Venus, plenty of wealth will be earned. Same is the result by aspect of another benefic (i.e. Jupiter).

Grah/Planets in 2nd bhava and their effects

If Sun is in the 2nd Bhava, the native will be endowed with servants and quadrupeds, will suffer facial diseases, will be deprived of happiness and wealth and will lose money through royal displeasure, or through thieves.

If Moon occupies the 2nd Bhava the native will enjoy incomparable happiness and friends and be wealthy. If the said Moon be Full, the native will be very affluent and will speak less.

If Mars occupies the 2
nd
Bhava, the native will be poor, will eat bad food, will possess an ugly face, will join bad men and be bereft of learning.

If Mercury is in the 2nd Bhava, the native will earn wealth through his own wisdom, will enjoy food and drinks, be auspicious in speech and will have good course of conduct.

If Jupiter occupies the 2nd Bhava, the native will be rich, will enjoy good food, be an eloquent speaker, be fortunate, be charitable and will have a beautiful body and face.

If Venus is in the 2
nd
Bhava , the native will enjoy abundant food, drinks and wealth, will derive excellent pleasures, be endowed with good speech and will amass great wealth.

If Saturn occupies the 2nd Bhava , the native will have an ugly face, will enjoy worldly prosperity, be devoid of his own men, will render justice, will later on (in the course of his life) go to other countries and will earn money and conveyances.

If Rahu occupies the
2nd Bhava, can become quite wealthy, but wealth is also a source of personal instability and extremes in the behavior of the family, and they will identify socially with the underclass or a foreign culture, unusual values of food tastes, and very high entitlement to eat and drink as they please.

If Ketu occupies the 2nd Bhava, native will be disconnected or of peculiar speech, odd values, detachment from money & family traditions, can make it difficult for the person to access & express their true values.
May have strong intuition & a psychic insight into the past, may make you conceited, or feel deprived.

If the second house or second bhava is empty, then look for if any benefic like Jupiter, Venus, Shukla Paksha Moon or Independent Mercury is aspecting that house, then the effects will be good and if the bhava is aspected by a malefic like Saturn, Mars, Krishna paksha Moon, Mercury conjoined with a malefic, or other afflicated grah/planets, Rahu and Ketu, then the effects could be bad, in case there is no aspect then just check the properties of the properties of the sign/Rasi and deduce the effects, there is a possibility of Rasi aspect also, which also needs to be checked.

An empty house, with out any aspects from malefics is much better then a house with a malefic or afflicted grah or aspected by a malefic.
