The Karma Bhava/10th Bhava/House from the Ascendant relates to Action, Fame, Career growth, profession, karma (action), conduct in society,  honors, awards, self-respect, dignity, knees.

The general understanding about this bhava is that it deals with your job and your capacity to earn, I would say NO, Job as a mere mode of earning is handled by 6th house, and the grah/planets present in them, lord of the 6th house and any dhristi of a grah on 6th house. and income is handled by 2nd, 4th, 7th, 9th and 11th, 10th bhava gives the career growth.

Profession and career are at the base level, role in public office (Government of Private) and nation as a society stands at the top level of this bhava, meaning a President of a Nation might not have any Grah/Planet in this Bhava, because for such a President the presidency is just a Job to earn some money and not to use that opportunity to pool all actions towards a constructive nation building.

10th Bhava represents the Mid -Heaven, 2nd in importance only to the Ascendant, low ashtakavarga "bindu", in this bhava can weaken the bhava considerably, bhavas whose lords posited in the 10th bhava gain considerable strength and the activities ruled by them succeed, any grah/planet in 10th bhava is independently capable of giving good yoga, that could mean, power, rise, and success, Surya (Sun) and Mangala (Mars) that get directional strength in the 10th bhava can be a great blessings in any chart providing dynamism and success, 7th bhava being the pada of the 10th bhava, should also be studied, as the 7th bhava rules business, promotes business, and strong 7th bhava gives an entitlement for independent business.

Effects of Karma Bhava: BPHS

1. I now explain the effects of Karma Bhava. Listen to these, o Maitreya, in the words of Brahma, Garga and others.

2. Paternal Happiness.

If Karma’s Lord is strong and in exaltation, or in its own Rasi/Navamsa, the native will derive extreme paternal happiness, will enjoy fame and will perform good deeds.

3. If Karma’s Lord is devoid of strength, the native will face obstructions in his work. If Rahu is in an angle, or in a trine, he will perform religious sacrifices, like Jyotishtoma.

4. If Karma’s Lord is with a benefic, or be in an auspicious Bhava, one will always gain through royal patronage and in business. In a contrary situation, only opposite results will come to pass.

5. Should Karma and Labha Bhava be both occupied by malefics, the native will indulge only in bad deeds and will defile his own men.

6. If the Lord of Karma Bhava is relegated to Randhr Bhava along with Rahu, the native will hate others; be a great fool and will do bad deeds.

7. If Sani (Saturn), Mangal and Karma’s Lord are in Yuvati, as Yuvati’s Lord is with a malefic, the native will be fond of carnal pleasures and of filling his belly.

8-10 Should Karma’s Lord be in exaltation and be in the company of Guru (Jupiter), as Dharma’s Lord is in Karma the native will be endowed with honor, wealth and valor.

One will lead a happy life, if Labha’s Lord is in Karma and Karma’s Lord is in Lagna, or, if the Lord of Karma Bhava is yuti with the Lord of Labha Bhava in an angle.

Should Karma’s Lord in strength be in Meen (Pisces) along Guru, the native will doubtless obtain robes, ornaments and happiness.

11. Should Rahu, Surya, Sani (Saturn) and Mangal be in Labha Bhava, the native will incur cessation of his duties.

12. One will be learned and wealthy, if Guru (Jupiter) is in Meen along with Sukra (Venus), while Lagna’s Lord is strong and Chandra ( Moon) is in exaltation.

13. Should Karma’s Lord be in Labha (11th), while Labha’s Lord is in Tanu Bhava (First Bhava) and Sukra is in Karma, the native will be endowed with precious stones.

14. If the Karma’s Lord is exalted in an angle, or a trine and is yuti (Conjoined) with Guru, or receives a Drishti from Guru, one will be endowed with deeds.

15. Should Karma’s Lord be in Lagna along with Lagna’s Lord, as Chandra is in an angle, or in a trine, the native will be interested in good deeds.

16. If Sani (Saturn) is in Karma Bhava along with a debilitated Graha, while Karma Bhava in the Navamsa Kundali is occupied by a malefic, the native will be bereft of acts.

17. One will indulge in bad acts, if Karma’s Lord is in Randhr Bhava (8th), while Randhr’s Lord is in Karm Bhava with a malefic.

18. Obstructions to the native’s acts will crop up, if Karma’s Lord is in fall, as both Karma Bhava and the 10^th from Karma Bhava have malefic occupations.

19-21. Combinations for Fame.

One will be endowed with fame, if Chandra is in Karma Bhava, while Karma’s Lord is in a trine from Karma Bhava and Lagna’s Lord is in Lagna’s angle, similar effects will come to pass, if Labha’s Lord is in Karma Bhava, while Karma’s Lord is strong and gives a Drishti to Guru (Jupiter).

Fame will come to the native, if Karma’s Lord is in Dharma Bhava, as Lagna’s Lord is in Karma Bhava and Chandra is in Putra Bhava.

Effects of Grah/Planets in Karma Bhava/ 10th Bhava/House.

If Sun occupies 10^th, the native will be extremely intelligent, rich, strong and will be endowed with conveyances, relatives and sons, will succeed in his undertakings, be valorous, unconquerable and great.

If Moon occupies 10^th, the native will not suffer grief, be dutiful, successful in his undertakings, affluent, pure, very strong, valorous and charitable.

Karma bhava-10th bhava/house- Argala ( Intervention)

Argala is intervention of Grah/planets, which can be Sukha- Argala, meaning intervention for good, and Papa-Argala, meaning Intervention for bad.

Ascendant has Sukha-Argala on the 10th bhava, if the grah/planets in 10th bhava and Ascendant are friendly, then the native will experience satisfaction and if the Grah/planets are inimical then the the native will experience dissatisfaction.

11th bhava has Dhana-Argala on 10th bhava, meaning the Grah/planets in 11th bhava will have bearing on the fruits of the actions by the Grah/planets in 10th bhava and 8th bhava has Labha-Argala on 10th bhava, meaning the grah/planets in 8th bhava will determine the end of career/work etc.

Lord of 10th in Ascendant: Strong leadership qualities, and easy public recognition if it is exalted or strong, and in case of the lord of 10th being in fall, might not do well in his career due to his/her own self esteem issues, 10th lord in Ascendant confers Simhasana yoga- meaning kingly status after the middle years.

Lord of 10th in 2nd bhava: Direction of Karma and source of fortunes, family business will be source of livelihood, if the 10th lord is afflicted the family business wil be disrupted and misfortune to the native, strength of Jupiter and significtor of family deity is a crucial factor, 2nd house indicates food, and hotel industry, and the significator of hotel industry is Moon and if Moon influences 10th lord, success is sure.

Lord of 10th in 3rd bhava: Constant travelling and short journeys specially if Venus joins 10th lord, co-corns will further the career of the native.

Lord of 10th bhava is debilitated: Native will face obstruction.

If the lord of 10th in 5th bhava: Research occult studies, gambling, speculation, growth and achievement, service to orphans, handicapped, old and sick people, and If Jupiter and Moon are present in the 8th, they will damage the above effects.

Lords of various bhavas in Karma bhava.

Lord of 1st in Karma bhava: Strong leadership, easy public recognition if exalted or strong, and if in fall, might spoil his/her career due to self esteem problems.

Lord of 2nd in karma bhava: A good leader with strong morals and principles, enriches his/her leadership with culture and business ideas.

Lord of 3rd in Karma bhava: Public relations, might need public approval for every action, and might not be able to protect the monetary interest of the society at large.

Lord of 4th in Karma bhava: Very popular and trusted leader but only at the root level and not at the national level, might lack global instinct.

Lord of 5th in karma bhava: A strong leader who would like to play and create or gamble, might be very uncomfortable in the role of a director, but would do extremely well in industry of theatre.

Lord of 6th in Karma bhava: The native of this kind can be extremely good at handling leadership in areas that involve conflicts like police, Army, medicine, debt, divorce, loans etc.

Lord of 7th in Karma bhava:Auspicious, Particularly good results in administrative law, judgeship, policy and planning, human relations/human resources, diplomacy, and other agreement-seeking disciplines.

Labha bhava: Means house of profit, the 11th house from the Ascendant, the 1st house, it precedes Vyaya bhava *house of loss), it brings profits not just money a well decorated house will bring love and care of elders, and friends, the natural 11th house is Aquarius, lord of Aquarius is Saturn (Sani) and Rahu.

Labha bhava or 11th house relates to Elders, Elder co-born, Income, Gains, Realization of hopes, friends, ankles, the part of the body is effected if the said house is afflicted.

Labha bhava - 11th bhava/house of profit: BPHS

1. O excellent of the Brahmins, I now explain effects relating to the Labha bhava, the auspiciousness of which bhava will make one happy all the times.

2. Should Labha lord be in Labha itself, or be in an angle or in a trine from lagna, there will be many gains, similarly, If Labha lord is exalted though in combustion there will be many gains.

3. If labha lord is in dhana bhava, while dhana lord is in an angle along with the Guru the gains will be great.

4. If labha lord is in Sahaja bhava, while Labha bhava is occupied by a benefic, the native will gain 2000 Nishkas in his 36th year.

5. If labha lord is yuti (conjoined) with a benefic in an angle or in a trine, the native will acquire 500 Nishkas, in his 40th year.

6. The native will own 6000 Nishkas, If Labha bhava is occupied by Guru, while Dhana bhava and Dharma bhava are respectively, taken over by Chandra and Sukra by position.

7. Should Guru, Budh, and Chandra be in the 11th fro labha, the native will be endowed with grains, fortunes, diamonds, ornaments, etc.

8. One will gain 1000 Nishkas in his 33rd year, If labha bhava lord is in lagna and lagna lord is in Labha bhava.

9. If labha lord is in Dhana bhava, as Dhana lord is in Labha bhava, one will amass abundant fortunes after marriage.

10. If labha bhava is in Sahaja bhava as Sahaja lord is in labha bhava, one will gain wealth through co-borns and will be endowed with excellent ornaments.

11. There will be no gains in spite of numerous efforts, If labha lord is in fall, in combustion , or be in Ari (6th), Tandhara (8th) or Vyaya (12th), with a malefic.

Kalyana Varma's Saravali: ABOUT THE 11^TH HOUSE. 

The native will gain through kings, wars, thieves, forests, quadrupeds, etc. If the Sun is placed in the 11th house or If 11th house is aspected or owned by the Sun.

59. Should the Moon be in the 11^th House, or her division so related to the 11^th House the native will gain through females and through sales of elephants. If the Moon is declining, these are not much, but an increasing Moon increases these gains greatly.

66. If the 11^th House is Aspected by (or associated with) all the planets, advent of wealth will be in several ways. The strongest of those will have the highest influence. 

67. A planet in it's own Sign, or in a friendly Sign will give half of the effects attributed. These effects are full, if it is in its exaltation Sign, very meager, if it is combust and just one fourth, if inimically placed. 

68. The effects relating to the 11^th House, as mentioned above will be experienced right from birth, according to Yavanas. But according Lokaksha (a preceptor by that name), kings and heads of zones stand to enjoy abundant gains (as against a common man).

Effects of Grah/Planets in 11th, Labha Bhava.

If Sun occupies 11^th, one will be interested in gathering money, be strong, will hate others, be devoid of servants, be himself a servant, be devoid of affection, be modest and will be successful in undertakings.

If Moon occupy 11^th, the native will be wealthy, will have many sons, be long-lived, will have attendants to serve, be intelligent, sharp, valorous and splendourous.

If Mars occupies 11^th, the native will be virtuous, happy, courageous, endowed with wealth, grains and sons and be devoid of sorrow.

If Mercury occupies 11^th, the native will be rich, be an amicable worker, be learned, happy and endowed with wide enjoyments, be long-lived and famous.

Randhra bhava (Hole) the 8th house from Lagna (Ascendant) the house of evil, is a dusthana (bad house), the best grah/planet to occupy this house is a grah/planet in fall, and a benefic like Venus or Jupiter should occupy to confer long life, and If a Malefic occupies this house the dark side gets activated and the native might be inclined towards evil activities, and his or her nature would be evil, this house sustains the 7thhouse so malefics ilke Mars, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu would cause destruction of marriage, but if the 9th house which sustains the 8th house is stronger than the 8th house by presence of a benefic like Jupiter, then the the 8th house or the dark side of the native will remain recessive.

The 8th house is related to longevity, debts, disease, ill-fame, inheritance, loss of friends, occult studies, evils, gifts, unearned wealth, windfall, disgrace, secrets, and genitals.

Effects of Randhra Bhava: BPHS 

1. Long Life. O excellent of the Brahmins, listen to me speak on the effects of Randhr Bhava. If Randhr’s Lord is in an angle, long life is indicated. 

2. Short Life. Should Randhr’s Lord join Lagna’s Lord, or a malefic and be in Randhr itself, the native will be short lived.

3. Sani (Saturn) and Karma’s Lord about Longevity. Similarly consider Sani (Saturn) and Karma’s Lord in the matter of longevity. Karma’s Lord is in Randhr along with a malefic Grah and/or Lagna’s Lord.

4-7. Long Life. There will be long life, if Ari’s Lord ( Lord of the 6th) is in Vyaya, or, if Ari’s Lord is in Ari, as Vyaya’s Lord (Lord of the 12th) is in Vyaya, or, if Ari’s Lord and Vyaya’s Lord are in Lagna (Ascendant) and Randhr (8th). If the Lords of Putra (5th house),

Randhr and Tanu Bhava (First House) are in own Navamsa (D-9), own Rasis, or in friendly Rasis, the native will enjoy a long span of life. Should the Lords of Lagna, Randhr and Karma Bhava (10th House) and Sani (Saturn) are all disposed severally in an angle, in a trine, or in Labha Bhava (11th house), the subject will live long.

Like these, there are many other Yogas, dealing with the issue of longevity. The strength and weakness of the Grahs concerned be estimated in deciding longevity.

8-13. Short Life. One’s span of life will be between 20 and 32 years, if Lagna’s Lord is weak, while Randhr’s Lord is an angle. The native will only be short-lived, if Randhr’s Lord is in fall, while Randhr Bhava has a malefic in it and Tanu Bhava is bereft of strength.

Death will be instant at birth, if Randhr Bhava, Randhr’s Lord and Vyaya Bhava (12th) are all conjunct malefics. Malefics in angles and/or trines and benefics in Ari and/or Randhr Bhava, while Tanu Bhava has in it Randhr’s Lord in fall: this Yoga will cause immediate end. 

If Putr and Randhr Bhava and Randhr’s Lord are all conjunct malefics, the life span will be very brief. Within a month of birth, death will befall the child, if Randhr’s Lord is in Randhr itself, while Chandra (Moon) is with malefics and be bereft of beneficial Drishti.

14-15. Long Life (again). One will be long-lived, if Lagna’s Lord is in exaltation, while Chandra and Guru are, respectively, in Labha and Randhr Bhava. If Lagna’s Lord is exceedingly strong and receives a Drishti from a benefic, which is placed in an angle, the person concerned will be wealthy, virtuous and long-lived.

Kalyana Varma's Saravali:

If Sun occupies the 8^th bhava, the native will have deformed eyes, be devoid of wealth and happiness, be short-lived and will suffer separation from his relatives.

If Moon occupies 8^th bhava, the native will be very intelligent, very splendorous and will suffer from diseases. If the Moon be weak, he will be short-lived.

If Mars occupies 8^th bhava, the native will suffer from diseases, be short-lived, will possess an ugly, or deformed body, will do base acts and will suffer grief.

If Mercury occupies 8^th bhava, the native will win famous names (titles), be strong, long-lived, will support his family and be equal to a king, or will become a justice.

If Jupiter occupies 8^th bhava, the native will be insulted, long-lived, be a servant, will serve his own people, be pitiable and will have union with dirty women.

If Venus occupies 8^th bhava, the native will be long-lived, will enjoy incomparable happiness, be very rich, be equal to a king and moment after moment will feel delighted.

If Saturn occupies 8^th bhava, the native will suffer from leprosy and fistula in the anus, or duodenum, will have short life and will fail in his undertakings.

If Rahu occupies 8th bhava: Rahu is beneficial in 8th bhava, but only for occult and secret things, the desire to gain the secret knowledge is very intense and the native is never satisfied with the knowledge he/she acquire's, the native just wants to see the secrets holding the cycle of death and birth, the knowledge to gain healing abilities is another issue which remain highlighted.

If Ketu occupies 8th bhava: Ketu in 8th bhava is not a bad position for Ketu, it helps the native to attain the ability of healing, and also gains the abilities to enter other human aura's to heal, but the native will not be able to handle the joint assets of the partner or spouse and the trust level also will be low and might not marry for this reason.

So the bottom line for this bhava is that the bottom valve of the life opens here. :-))

The 7th house or the Yuvati bhava: (Yuvati = Woman) is one of the most important house, the natural 7th house is Libra and the lord of the 7th house is Venus, and Venus is also the natural karaka for marriage, or spouse.

Yuvati Bhava: Relates to marriage, marital life, life partner, long journeys, partners, business, death, the portion of the body below the navel.

Effects of Yuvati bhava; BPHS

1. O excellent of the Brahmins, listen to me detailing the effects of the 7th house.

If Yuvati Lord is in his own Rasi, or in exaltation, one will derive full happiness through his wife (and marriage). 

2. Sick Wife.

Should Yuvati Lord be in Ari 6th, Randhra 8^th, or Vyaya 12th house, the wife will be sickly. This however does not apply to own Bhava, or exaltation placement, as above.

3. Excessive·Libidinousness/Death·of·Wife.

If Sukra is in Yuvati, the native will be exceedingly libidinous. If Sukra yuti a malefic in any Bhava, it will cause loss of wife.

4-5. THE 7^TH LORD.

Should Yuvati Lord be endowed with strength and be yuti with, or be drishtied by a benefic, the native will be wealthy, honorable, happy and fortunate.

Conversely, if Yuvati Lord is in fall, or is combust, or is in an enemy’s Rasi, one will acquire sick wives and many wives.

6. PLURALITY OF WIVES.

If Yuvati Lord is in a Rasi of Sani (Saturn), or of Sukra (Venus) and be drishtied by a benefic, there will be many wives. Should Yuvati Lord be particularly in exaltation, the same effects will come to pass.

7-8½. Miscellaneous MATTERS.

The native will befriend barren females, if Surya (Sun) is in Yuvati. Chandra (Moon) therein will cause association with such female, as corresponding to the Rasi, becoming Yuvati. Mangal (Mars) placed in Yuvati, will denote association with marriageable girls (those with menses), or with barren females.

Budh indicates harlots, mean females and females, belonging to traders’ community.
Wife of a Brahmin, or a pregnant female will be in the native’s association, if Guru is in Yuvati. Base females and females, having attained their courses, are denoted by Sani (Saturn), Rahu/Ketu in Yuvati.

8-9½. Mangal (Mars) denotes a female with attractive breasts. Sani (Saturn) indicates sick and weak spouse. Guru (Jupiter) will bring a spouse with hard and prominent breasts. Sukra ( Venus) will bring one with bulky and excellent breasts.

10-13½. Malefics in Vyaya and 7^th, while decreasing Chandra is in Putra denote, that the native will be controlled by spouse, who will be inimical to the race (or family).

If Yuvati Bhava is occupied, or owned by Sani/Mangal, the native will beget a harlot, as his spouse, or he will be attached to other illegally. Should Sukra be in a Navamsa of Mangal, or in a Rasi of Mangal, or receive a Drishti from, or be yuti with Mangal, the native will “kiss” the private parts of the female.

If Sukra is so related to Sani, the native will “kiss” the private parts of the male.

14-15. WORTHY SPOUSE.

The native will beget a spouse endowed with (the seven principal) virtues, who will expand his dynasty by sons and grandsons, if the 7^th Lord is exalted, while Yuvati is occupied by strong Lagna Lord and a benefic.

16. EVILS TO SPOUSE.

If Yuvati Bhava, or its Lord is yuti with a malefic the native’s wife will incur evils, especially, if Yuvati Bhava, or its Lord is bereft of strength.

17. LOSS OF SPOUSE.

If Yuvati Lord is devoid of strength and is relegated to Ari 6th, Randhra 8^th, or Vyaya 12th, or, if Yuvati Lord is in fall, the native’s wife will be destroyed (i.e. she will die early).

18. LACK OF CONJUGAL FELICITY.

If Chandra is in Yuvati, as Yuvati Lord is in Vyaya and the Karaka (indicator Sukra) is bereft of strength, the native will not be endowed with marital happiness.

19-21. PLURALlIY OF WIVES.

One will have two wives, if Yuvati Lord is in fall, or in a malefic Rasi along with a malefic, while Yuvati Bhava, or the 7^th Navamsa belong to a eunuch planet.

If Mangal and Sukra are in Yuvati, or, if Sani is Yuvati, while the Lord of Lagna is in Randhra, the native will have 3 wives. There will be many wives, if Sukra is in a Dual Rasi, while its Lord is in exaltation, as Yuvati Lord is endowed with strength.

22. TIME OF MARRIAGE (upto Sloka 34).

If Yuvati Lord is in a benefic’s Bhava (or in Dharma, as Subha ( Auspicious) Rasi so means), while Sukra is exalted, or is in own Rasi, the native will get married at the age 5, or 9.

23. If Surya is in Yuvati, while its dispositor is yuti with Sukra, there will be marriage at 7^th, or 11^th year of age.

24. Sukra in Dhana, while Yuvati Lord is in Labha will give marriage at the age of 10, or 16.

25. Marriage will take place during the 11^th year, if Sukra is in an angle from Lagna, while Lagna Lord is in Makar, or Kumbh.

26. The native will marry at 12, or l9, if Sukra is in an angle from the Lagna, while Sani is in Yuvati counted from Sukra.

27. Should Sukra be in Yuvati from Chandra, while Sani is in Yuvati from Sukra, marriage will be in the 18^th year.

28. Marriage will be in the 15^th year, if Dhana Lord is in Labha, while Lagna Lord is in Karma.

29. An exchange between the Lords of Dhana and Labha will bring marriage 13 years after birth.

30. Ones 22^nd/27^th year will confer marriage, if Sukra is in Yuvati from the 8^th Bhava (i.e. Dhana from Lagna), while his dispositor is yuti with Mangal.

31. Should Yuvati Lord be in Vyaya, while the natal Lord is in Yuvati in Navamsa, marriage will be in 23^rd/26^th year of age.

32. Either the 25^th year, or the 33^rd year will bring marriage, if Randhra Lord is in Yuvati, as Sukra is in Navamsa Lagna.

33. Should Sukra be in Dharma from Dharma (i.e. in Putra Bhava), while Rahu is in one of the said Bhavas (i.e. in Putra/Dharma), marriage will take place during 31^st, or 33^rd year.

34. The native will marry at 30, or 27, if Sukra is in Lagna, while the 7^th Lord is in Yuvati itself.

35-39. TIMING OF WIFE’S DEATH.

Loss of wife will occur in the 18^th year, or 33^rd year of age of the native, if Yuvati Lord is in fall, while Sukra is in Randhra.

One will lose his spouse in his 19^th year, if Yuvati Lord is in the 8^th, while Vyaya Lord is in Yuvati. The native’s wife will die within three days of marriage due to snake bite, if the native has Rahu in Dhana and Mangal in Yuvati.

If Sukra is in Randhra, while his depositor is in a Rasi of Sani, death of wife will take place during the native’s 12^th, or 21^st year of age. Should the ascendant Lord be in his Rasi of debilitation, as Dhana Lord is in Randhra, loss of wife will occur in the 13^th year of age.

40-41. THREE MARRIAGES.

Should Chandra be in Yuvati from Sukra, while Budh is in Yuvati from Chandra and Randhra Lord is in Putra (from the Lagna), there will be marriage in Karma year (10) followed by another in the 22^nd year and yet another in the 33^rd year.

42. DEATH OF WlFE.

lf Ari, 7^th and 8^th are in their order occupied by Mangal, Rahu and Sani, the native’s wife will not live (long).

Note: Where ever it says "Wife", one should read it as "Spouse".

45 ABOUT THE 7^th HOUSE.

If Jupiter, Moon, Venus and Mercury be in the 7^th, in any manner (i.e. one of them, two, three, or all of them in the 7^th), or other divisions falling in the 7^th House, or, if the 7^th House be in aspect to these, one will procure a wife corresponding to the planet/s and Rasi in question.

46. Should the 7^th House contain malefics, or fall in malefic planets' divisions, the wife of the native will be destroyed (i.e. adversely affected). These results can be deduced from the Ascendant and the Moon, the stronger of them having more significance. If the Moon be in the 7^th (from the Ascendant) along with Saturn, the native will marry a widow.

47. The number of wives will correspond to the number of heavenly bodies aspecting the 7^th, or the Navamsa past in the 7^th House. There will be a single wife, if Leo, Aries, or Scorpio rise in Navamsa, or, if Mercury and Jupiter join together in the 7^th House.

48. If the 7^th House has many divisions of Venus and the Moon, or is occupied by these two, there will be plurality of wives. Specially Venus in the 7^th will cause such an effect.

49. Jupiter and Venus related to the 7^th House will confer a bride of the same caste, while the Sun, Mars, Saturn and the Moon denote a female belonging to a mean order. As per Ketumalacharya, Venus and Moon related to the 7^th House will cause relationship with whores.

50-51. Mars in the 7^th House will make one go devoid of wife ( Lord Shri Rama also had Mars in 7th and we know the Ramayana, he is separated form his wife Sita devi for many many years and then again when the Demon King Ravana is killed and everything becomes peaceful, he sends his wife away suspecting her chastity, so anyway they remain separated). If he is, while so posited in aspect to only Saturn, the wife will certainly pass away.

Should Mars and Venus be together in the 7^th, or 5^th, or 9^th, the native will beget a languid, or deformed wife.

52. It is the unanimous opinion of all the sages, that, if the Moon and the Sun are, respectively, in the 12^th and the 6^th, both the native and his wife will be one-eyed.

53. If Saturn occupies the Ascendant, while Venus is in the 7^th identical with Ganda Rasi and the 5^th is bereft to beneficial aspect, the person acquires a barren wife.

54-55. One will be devoid of a wife and an issue, if malefics occupy the Ascendant, 12^th and 7^th, while decreasing Moon is in the 5^th. Both the native and his wife will be immoral, if the 7^th in aspect to Mars and Saturn. House falls in the various divisions of Saturn and Mars, while Venus is posited in the 7.

56. When the 7^th House is occupied by Mercury and Venus, the native will be bereft of both wife and progeny. If however this combination receives the aspect of a benefic, there will be obtainment of a wife at an advanced age.

57. Should the Moon, along with even one of Mercury, Jupiter and Venus, be in the 7^th, the native will be opulent.

Grah/Planets in Yuvati bhava- 7th House and their effects

If the Sun is posited in 7^th, the native will be poor, insulted, will suffer bodily diseases, royal displeasure's and imprisonment, will take to bad ways and will not be well-disposed to his wife.

If the Moon is in 7^th, the native will be amiable, happy, will possess a good physique and be sensuously disposed. If the weak Moon is in 7^th, the native will be pitiable and weak.

If Mars is posited in 7^th, the native will lose his wife, will suffer from diseases, will take to bad ways, be miserable, sinful, devoid of wealth, distressed and emaciated.

If Mercury is in 7^th, the natives wife will be very learned, beautiful in appearance, will not be of good descent, will promote quarrels and be very affluent. The native himself will be very great.

If Jupiter occupies the 7^th, the native will be charming, will acquire a beautiful wife, be greater than his father, be an eloquent speaker, a poet, a superior person and be learned and famous.

If Venus occupies the 7^th, the native will be very beautiful, be happy with his wife, will enjoy great riches, be devoid of quarrels and be fortunate.

If Saturn is posited in the 7^th, the native will always be subjected to ill health, will lose his wife, be bereft of wealth, will present himself ugly, be sinful and will do very mean acts.

If Rahu is posited in 7th Bhava: The spouse might be from a foreign land or might belong to lower class, Marriage represents entitlement to satisfy a personal desire at the expense of social stability. 

Spouse may be entirely successful but the foreign behaviours are a permanent source of change and movement in the natives life. Excellent for international business negotiations, where the spouse becomes a significant partnering asset.

 Also good for counseling/advising for multi-cultural and taboo relationships.

If Ketu is posited in the 7th Bhava: Ketu does not obstruct marriage but keeps the native in a restless dissatisfaction with the spouse, or the native might have a disconnected, inappropriate or unavailable spouse, Ketu is the tail of the Serpent "Naga", it belongs to no one, has no power, the spouse might be withdrawn, often narcissistic or so concerned with their own selves that they cannot participate in partnerships. This can be very tiring to the native since, the mind would always be worried about something or other regarding the spouse, and the spouse will be in a very difficult position, a patient and loving spouse can tax himself and a careless and mindless spouse can ruin the relationship, but Ketu does not take the native to that extent, Rahu will be pulling him the other corner in exactly the opposite direction.

Here we are just seeing the 7th house and not marriage, because to deduce the combinations for marriage, health of marriage, spouse, type of spouse, longevity of the marriage, dangers to the marriage, no of marriages etc. can be seen from many other angles, 7th house just tells us about the Spouse in general and relations with business partners. etc.

The most appropriate planet for a very beautiful marriage would be auspicious Venus in 7th and that 7th house should be either Pisces (Venus exalted) or Libra (Venus own house and Moolatrikona) , with Shukla paksha Moon, and a shubha dhristi of Jupiter from Gemini or Jupiter in Cancer (Jupiter exalted) and similar combination should be present in the Navamsa, Jupiter disciplines Venus and the Moon adds its charm, and Venus as its is adds feminine beauty.

Note: Rather it is a warning, this is for parents, please don't try to find a short cut to match the charts of your children and get into a vicious circle, :-) because life of two individuals is at stake, and it is them who have to live that life together, or best thing don't match the charts, just go for it like in west, :-) and many women they come with questions like I want to check the chart of my boy friend, :-) If you are in love please don't check the charts unless there is some serious problem, :-) because once you check and find out one of you have Moola Nakshatra then your parents will panic. :-)) checking charts is strictly for arranged marriages only, where parents go looking for brides or bridegrooms, and not for people in love.
