Kalavelas - Gulika (Gk) - Jataka Parijata of Vaidhyanathan Dikshita

ॐ श्री गुरावे नमः !
ॐ नमः शिवाय!

Gulika is a Kalavela, Space and time continuum, so certain effects are related with it when it happens at various places in the zodiac circle.

Gulika, GK in most Vedic Astrology softwares,

Like other Grahs (Planets) it also has full 7th house dhristi (Aspect) and it has also 2nd and 12th house dhristi (Aspect) reckoned from it.

1) Gulika in 1st bhava (in Lagna): Jataka Parijata says- The native will be dull and sickly.(My comment true to some extent) :-)

1a) If with Malefic planets in Lagna then the native will be deceitful, lustful and depraved.

2) Gulika in 2nd bhava (from Lagna): Jataka Parijata says- The native will have craving for sensual enjoyment, be of wandering habits and indulge in scurrilous language.

2a) If with Malefic planets in 2nd bhava, No wealth and at all events will be destitute of knowledge.

3)Gulika in 3rd bhava (from Lagna): Jataka Parijata says - The native will be distinguished by aloofness, pride, drunkenness and such qualities, will display an abundance of ill temper and bustling activity with regards to earning wealth, will be exempt from distress and danger and will be without brothers or sisters.

4) Gulika in 4th bhava (from Lagna): Jataka Parijata says- The native will be devoid of learning, wealth, houses, happiness, lands, vehicles and will become a wanderer.

5) Gulika in 5th bhava (from Lagna): Jataka Parijata says: The native will be immortal, irresolute, evil minded, will have few sons and will be short lived. (My comment Nonsense).

6) Gulika in 6th bhava (from Lagna): Jataka Parijata says:The native will destroy host of foes, will dabble in demonology and will be brave.

7) Gulika in 7th bhava (from Lagna): Jataka Parijata says- The native will be quarrelsome, be cursed with a bad wife, will be a public enemy, will be stupid, and ungrateful. (My comment need data to substantiate this claim).

8) Gulika in 8th bhava (from Lagna): Jataka Parijata says: The native will have deformation on face, with weak impaired eyes and will have a slight body. (My Comment Nonsense).

9) Gulika in 9th bhava (from Lagna): Jataka Parijata says: The native will engage in vile deeds to such an extent as ultimately to become the murderer of parents and guru.

10) Gulika in 10th bhava (from Lagna) Jataka Parijata says: The native will abandon all religious duties and observances prescribed for his caste an dbeing associated with hundreds of shameful deeds will become dead to all sense of honour or self respect.

11) Gulika in 11th bhava (from Lagna) Jataka Parijata says: The native will have much happiness, wealth, power and beauty, but will occasion the demise of an elder born person. (My Comment-True).

12) Gulika in 12th bhava (from Lagna) Jataka Parijata says: The native will have an appearance of an ascetic and by cleverly employing the language of the distressed will get money from every quarter.

Gulika and Grah association.

1) If Gulika associated with Sun: Jataka Parijata says- The native will hate his father.
2) If Gulika associated with Moon: Jataka Parijata says-The native will cause distress to his mother.
3) If Gulika associated with Mars:Jataka Parijata says- The native will have no younger brother.
4) If Gulika associated with Mercury: Jataka Parijata says-The native will be insane.
5) If Gulika associated with Jupiter: Jataka Parijata says-The native will be blasphemous heretic.
6) If Gulika associated with Venus: Jataka Parijata says-The native will be afflicted with veneral diseases and will be the favourite of base women.
7)If Gulika associated with Saturn : Jataka Parijata says-The native will be devoted to pleasure and enjoyment.
8) If Gulika associated with Rahu: Jataka Parijata says-The native will be a prisoner.
9) If Gulika associated with Ketu: Jataka Parijata says-The native will become an incendiary (Cause fires.)

Notes: Jataka Parijata says: Lagna occupying a Trikona position with respect to Gulika and also in the same Navamsa or Dwadasamsa as that occupied by Mandi (Md in Vedic Softwares) and the planet associated with Gulika and the lord of the sign occupied by Gulika, all tend to become always Malefic. (My comment- Nonsense).

Notes; Jataka Parijata says: In fact, the major planets united with minor ones (Upagrahs) produce a malefic effect.

Notes: Jataka Parijata says: When Gulika is in a house affected by Vishanadi, the native, even If he is a ruler of Earth will undoubtedly become a beggar.

Vishanadi: (Poison vein), Every grah and Nakshatra has a bad period or unfavourable period and that period is considered Vishanadi.

Ref: Jataka Parijata, It is a study of all ancient Vedic Astrological texts by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaidyanatha_Dikshita,  Son of Venkatadri Dikshita of 14/15 century in Sanskrit, which was translated by V Subramanya Shastri, in 1932, India.

My Notes: Just because ancient texts were all written in Sanskrit, they automatically don't get the entitlement of being sacred or authentic, Sanskrit was a language used by all then, like today I am using English or Hindi. :-)

Later during Golden era of India, Gupta era (3rd Century AD to 7th century AD, If drag that period up to Adi Shankara and other Shankaracharyas time like Vidyaranya, around 13th century), it was the Liturgian language of Hindus and even today it is the liturgian language of Hindus (Sanatana Dharma).

Note: Still Editing.
