It was a routine, when ever our maternal Grand mother would go out shopping, she would return with just one pastry for my elder brother, and even though I would be sitting next to him, she would ignore me like I did not exist, :-) I am 2 and half years younger then him.
But one day, out of the blue my grand mother walks towards us and hands over one pastry to my elder brother like all ways, he was 6 years old then and was sitting on my right side on the front open porch of our grand mothers rented house in Secunderabad, Telangana, and then she takes out another pastry and I am still looking at her with my mouth wide open, :-) what went wrong, is that for me, and she hands over the pastry to me, my brother does not react, he eats his pastry unmindful of the surroundings, :-) but for me there was a big change that day, I am still thinking about the reason for that change in her and still looking at the pastry in my hand, and then my cousin Arun walks out of the house crying, he was 2 years old, and voila! my grand mother snatches the pastry out of my hand and hands it over to him and consoles him. :-)
There was no reaction from my brother, he continued to enjoy his pastry, I also did not react and walked away like nothing had happened, that is when I stopped expecting things from people, my mother was too busy with her two younger children, and she had gone through her cesarean section, and my father was posted 2500 Km away in Shillong, Meghalaya, that was early 1970, so there was no one to complain to. :-)
Note: Since he joined us (Family) in 1972 at Shillong, after our Grand Mother's death in 1971 till our mother's passing in 2015, my elder brothers has been fighting for his number one position in our family, :-) which was given to him on a platter umpteen number of times, but If someone thinks that being number one means, rest everyone else should be kissing his arse or else it is not the number one position, :-) then no one can help that someone.
When ever my parents wanted someone responsible they looked at me or rather they just called me for almost everything, even when it was about his job, :-) not once thrice, and my elder brother thought they gave me that position, :-) it was about responsibility, which I took every time it showed its face, in whatever form it was, I took it every damn time, and many times it cost me money, but I still took it, and this upset him so much that he would remain in his shell and not come out of it.
And after my mother's passing in 2015, he thought, finally!!!!! :-) he got his number one position but again behaved badly, :-) but he could not hold on to it in my presence because of guilt, and his greed for money and irresponsible behavior pulled him back into the shell he created, and he took 80,000 Rs through my biased sister from my mother's account for all the drama he did in front of the already biased and programed relatives, and the lip service he was repeating was, "I am paying for all the expenses", and "I have to pay for that too", :-) Cong-I should look into him, he can very well teach few techniques to Cong-I, "How to eat the cake and have it too", I am the opposite, I will not eat or have the cake, I will rather pay fine for the broken crockery also, which I might not have used or broken at first place. :-) I am like Neki kar aur dariya mein dal".
After our Grand mother's death, he would return from school and sit in front of the same house I talked about in the beginning of this post, but there was no one to even ask him If he had eaten anything, etc. etc. :-) Imagine a 9 year old boy, no one to take care off him, his parents with his three siblings away in Shillong, which was some 2500 Km from Hyderabad, no phone, no Internet, there was this Maternal Uncle Hari, :-) but he got married in 1969 or early 1970, so he was busy with his life and new wife, whom he called CocaCola, :-) he too lost his parents at a young age, and would visit his in-law's house and stay there totally forgetting that there was this 9 year old, his only elder sister's son back in the house or in front of the house waiting. :-)
As he was an industrial worker in BHEL, which he had joined after his I.T.I. training, Shakuni Mama would use the neglected boy, son of his only elder sister as domestic help, like, ok, enough of your studies, go get me the hammer", etc. etc. :-) Imagine the plight of the boy, :-) no pastries anymore but only ridicule from his newly married uncle, today this uncle is around 78 and behaves and talks like he was Senior Ambani's third son. :-)
There was a time in 1970 when he had to share one room (15' x 10') with his married elder brother, who had two children of his own, so they had their bed next to each other, only partition was the mosquito net, so both lived with their wives next to each other in one room, people forget their past but they should remember there are people like me to remind them of their humble past. :-)
I saw similar families living next to each other separated by just a mosquito net in Delhi, Kalyanpuri, they were sleeping on the roof, I happened to stay one night there in 1984. :-) Imagine you and your brother with their respective wives living in one room, about 15' x 10', and can see each other through the net, :-) with young wives with them, and today because they have two or three houses, eyes are always on top of their heads, totally forgotten their past, even those days when they burrowed used clothes from my father. :-)
They think that no one knows or remembers, :-) funny thing is they behaved like this with my father, who had a very good beginning, he came from a well to do family, they had a horse cart to go to school, a vintage car with a driver, a large house on 1000 yards, his father used to drink alcohol in a gold cup, they would never eat the same food what was cooked in the morning, same again in afternoon and in the night, the left overs were given away to the housemaids, but he was so full of humility, he would joke with everyone, " I am a sepoy and get monthly rupoi (Rupee)", I always felt why he had to repeat this every where. :-)
The narrative was simple, so even though he came from a well to do family his narrative caused him unnecessary ridicule from people who had such existence sharing a room with their married brother. :-)
My elder brother also blamed my parents for his predicament, but actually it was his decision, :-) to stay with the Granny and not come with us, but then while blaming my mother of irresponsibility, he said, " she could have slapped him and taken him with them", after all he was just 7 years old when we left.
And that sadness he ruined his life and stayed aloof, sulking, and mostly sleeping, and when ever he would come face to face with me, he would get angry or pushy and felt it was me who took away his position number one. :-)
But this behavior changed slowly when he needed my help in 11th grade when he was struggling with math and he could not go to the market to buy his books, I had to do it, :-) and then the fight continued that his number one position in the family was taken away by me. :-)
Then he wanted to play a dirty game, he wanted to remain unmarried, and expected that rest everyone in the family would follow suit, :-) because he was number one in the family, :-) but we did not stop, all three of us younger then him got married, but he remained unmarried even today, again he blamed my mother of bias. :-)
Sounds familiar, such people will can never appreciate any situation, there is a saying,"even If gold is weighed on a balance equal their weight, there will always be something not up to their expectations". :-)
Basically it comes down to the old Telugu saying, : "Nee Peli naa muddi lagaa unnadi, naa peli ki vacchi kagada pattu", which is "your marriage is like my arse ......come hold....", .......you know.
Well!!!
1970 to May 1974 was like bliss..... no words can explain the experience.....jumping into the Z and L shaped trenches during the 1971 war was also fun, every time siren would go, we boys would run out of our houses and jump in them and play soldier- soldier, but it lasted only few days, and many times we travelled towards Guwahati, to visit Kamakhya Temple, where I saw the gory of animal sacrifice both Goats and Bulls non stop, the bodies were flung into a cement tank after Jhataka blow, and the blood was let out into the open drains, it was intense and I did not like it, then there was the sweet visits to Madhav Kola, (Krishna Temple) the perfect place for family picnics, I loved it whenever we visited it but returning was a hardship given the scarcity of truck like buses and the rush of returning small vendors from Guwahati, I think from Guwahati it was a 29 Km uphill drive.
In 1974, Ambala Haryana, I walked many times with the Sikh Jalus from Khalasa College towards the east side of the city, and them they were dressed in blue frocks with swords and would dance on the street for few minutes and then walk again for few more minutes, this would go on for hours, on the side there would be a cart packed with food items like Sherbat, Halwa and other items, I would walk with them for two or three hours and then find it pointless to continue, so I would return back to the Capital Cinema and then take my regular path back to home, I think they are called Nihang Sikh, and they are supposed to be detached, but I felt then, that they were more attached to the cart of food items then the purpose of the Jalus, not once they shared their food items with me, may be I was in their blind spot, they could have seen a 9 year old boy in school uniform matching Khalasa College walking with them, so may be ask for some Sherbat or Halwa or just water, but never. :-)
In 1975, Ambala, Haryana, There was this small one room temple about 100 yards from our quarter, I used to go there alone, one day I was all alone waiting for the Aarti to finish and the priest asked me If I was a Vaishnav, I had no clue what Vaishnav meant, there was this women from no where who came and said yes! he is Vaishnav, :-) then the priest gave me the blessings and prasadam. :-)
In 1976, Ambala, Haryana, It was Janmashtami, and around 7 pm along with two other boys I join many DSC employees and others singing prayers, kirtans etc., we continue to sit, sing with them, and around 12 am, just before the prasadam was to be distributed, my father appears and asks me to go home, :-) it was a wake up call for him, he should have stayed back with me but he missed it, and instead dragged me home, no prasadam even after 5 hours of waiting.
Note: 1966, I played baby Krishna on stage in Palam Air Force Station, New Delhi, when I was just few months old - No pictures available. :-)
In 1976, Ambala, Haryana, It was Saraswati Puja, and does not matter which Air Force Station, Bengali's always celebrated Durga puja and Saraswati puja with such pomp and festivity, I always liked it and felt the kind of devotion and unity they show towards each other, why Telugu people does not show towards Ugadi and each other etc.
I stayed till the puja was over along with few Bengali boys, at about 2 PM, when the lunch was about to start, one Bengali Airmen comes and asks me If I was Bengali, :-) when I tell him I was Telugu, he asks me to leave, and after pushing me out of the hall, he shuts the door on my face, damn! I was just 11 years old, felt very bad not because he pushed me outside but because no Prasadam even after staying through out the puja. :-)
But very next year, 1977, Agra, U.P., my fathers squadron celebrated Saraswati Puja right in front of our quarters and we had sumptuous prasada/lunch for the entire family, thanks to few Bengali airmen in that squadron.
1977 to early 1980, our stay at Agra was the best place, then 1980 August, we have to move to Adampur, Punjab, terrible, I hated the news, that is when first time I came to know that I was different and need to look at the color of the skin of the people before making friends or even talking, and city or town was so trashy, dirty, no hygiene, people always called each other "Amli",(Addict) Sadayi", (Crazy) etc. and the toilets were always on the roof, and were open kind with shit flowing everywhere, and at around 10:00 am they were washed into open drains, which flowed everywhere, and people prepared food just next to them unmindful of the flowing shit, I never got so sick as I got sick in Punjab with Gastroenteritis, thanks to the Air Force Stations we moved into it by May 1981 and our hardship in the unhygienic Punjab ended.
In some other post I will write that one year 1980 Aug to May 1981 in Adampur, Punjab outside the Air Force Station and our hardship, particularly to my mother.
Note: People might not know that with in India, any Air Force Station is maintained clean, surroundings are green, roads are good and clean, side walks are clean and good, garbage is regularly picked and large coiled cement bins are kept clean, clean drinking water is available 24/7, electricity is available 24/7, toilets are Indian style but with a flush and proper overhead water tanks and always working, schools buildings are nice and clean (except toilets), swimming pools are maintained for the officers, but the swimming pools meant for the airmen's and their families are left to the frogs, :-) shopping complex is well maintained, defense canteen is available for all the things one needs at cheaper price, thrift shops for textbooks are also planned from time to time, only dreadful experience was when ever we stepped outside into the civil area, terrible, it was like moving from Canada to India with in 10 minutes, :-) after living 23 years in those Air Force Stations it is hard to adapt to those trashy dirty places.
Surprising isn't it, with in India we are able to maintain a Canada but limited to the Air Force Stations, outside it is trash every where, because inside the Air Force Stations there is administration and a system that works on fear, after 8 pm boys are not allowed outside, the Air Force Police would ask us to go back home, there is no democracy in those Air Force Stations.
Outside it is too much democracy, people are left to their whim and fancy, and Municipal corporations do not care or no one checks them, Indian cities need strict Municipal bylaws and like in the west a strict policy to fine people who do not follow those bylaws, then the people and cities will change.
One open drain next to my father-in-law's nice house was over flowing in 1994 when I went to see my current wife, :-) it was over flowing even in 2010, it must be over flowing even today, people don't give a damn it is their locality, leave alone it is their country.
In 1983, Adampur Punjab, It was the day before the school exhibition, our Physics teacher carried a box of sweets on his head and asked us to take one piece out of it, he was not a tall guy, but when I extended my hand, his expression changed and looked at me with contempt, :-) from right corner of his eyes, he was not happy that I did the project with people who had no contribution instead of his son, whom he wanted to be known as a genius, :-) and I placed the names of the other two Punjabi boys above mine, :-) I don't know why I did that all my life to so many underserving and "Ahsaan Faramosh" people, that includes my elder brother and sister also, still no appreciation, such an easy opportunity lost, while the PGT teacher walked away trying to avoid me, I grabbed a piece and it was a Pakoda, :-) then that year he ran a campaign trying to insult me whenever he could and then in 1984 he told me to do the project for that years exhibition with his son, how cheap, I refused. :-)
In 1984, I had just returned from New Delhi after 23 days of unplanned visit, from May 28, 1984 to June 21, 1984, Punjab was sealed on May 30, when the first train left New Delhi for Jalandhar after operation Blue Star, I took that train even though there were threats that the train might be blown by Khalistanis, :-) and with in few weeks it was decided that my elder brother would go to Hyderabad and pursue his further education, so he leaves early morning for Hyderabad, Telangana. :-)
At around 11:00 am the same day I receive a telegram from one of my cousin (Only Son of my 5th Paternal Aunt) that the medical exam dates were announced in A.P., so start immediately, it seems my father had requested him by letter to inform him about the dates, that's it, my mother tells me, "pack and leave", by 2:00 PM, I board Shaane Punjab in Jalandhar for New Delhi, :-) and in New Delhi my brother is still waiting for his next train to Hyderabad, :-) and one battalion of Sikh regiment which was moving to Hyderabad asks him for directions and they tag along with him, :-) I pass him and the Sikh soldiers waiting near the door to the local passenger trains for Nizabuddin Station. :-)
I reach Hazrat Nizambuddin Station around 12 am and find an empty stainless steel food stall to rest, with my suitcase under my head, and I fall asleep, and around 3 am I wake up to find another boy of my age also sleeping next to me with his head on my suitcase, :-) I tell him to leave and poor fellow finds a huge truck tire on the side of the platform and curls up in it, :-) I wash myself and wait for Janata Express. :-)
The train slowly rolls on to the platform around 10:00 am, and the doors towards the platform were all locked, :-) so by the time we got them opened all the seats/berths in the general compartment were taken, so I travelled Nizambuddin to Warangal by standing, and it took two days to reach Warangal, :-) the train was so jampacked that to shift my feet people had to be told to move their feet first, :-) and all Sikh passengers with families getting down at various stations were screaming bad words at top of their voices, :-) in Warangal the train stops at the out signal, so I got down and walked towards the Warangal station and catch another train for Secunderabad, and then I take local train from Secunderabad to Malakpet, where my aunt lived with her husband and two daughters, her son who had returned from Caribbeans and got married, their house was big enough, though I did not see their entire house. :-)
My brother reaches our 2nd paternal aunt's house, and due to the rush from New Delhi, his old canvas bag bursts open with all the things falling out, when he reaches their door with a burst bag, the family thinks he had run away from his home, as they did not had any prior information about his arrival, but since their house was also big enough they accommodated him but the way he wanted to stay with our maternal aunt it was clear the treatment was not good. :-)
People in A.P. had no clue about the operation Blue Star in Amritsar and the way people got stuck in New Delhi for weeks with families, they had no option but to live on the streets and leave in all directions which ever way they could, so the trains were jam packed, but people in south with their laid back life styles, had no clue, people in south India had not seen even one war so the respect for defense forces is also very low, they always looked down upon my father and us, though my father ignored, I could not, I watched each one of them and their true nature.
It was raining cats and dogs in Secunderabad, I was already running fever, and again I got drenched, and when I reached Malakpet, the town was under curfew :-) and a lone rickshaw puller was resting near the gate, I requested him and reached their home, initial welcome was all right but when they realized that I did not have enough money, the moods changed particularly my aunt felt I was not up to their level, :-) and asked me not to appear in front of her relatives, :-) her husbands elder brother was an IAS officer, :-) and one day my cousin's new wife whose family lived in USA, and I think they might be living in USA even now, I lost touch with them after 1984, she served me lunch. :-)
I was the only person on the table, she serves one spoon of rice and pours Rasam on top of that, and stands there looking at me eat, :-) I was 18 and slurped it in 2 seconds, she asks me, "should I serve more rice, I tell her please, so she serves another spoon of rice, and asks again "should I serve Rasam", :-) and I do not see any other dish on the table, so I tell her, "yes please", she pours few spoons of Rasam, and stands there holding the Rasam bowl, :-) I again slurp it in 2 seconds, she asks again, :-) this goes on for about 4 or 5 times, then I realize I should stop and still feeeeeeling hungry I retire to the living room, :-) where I studied and slept, and when they refuse to give me 400 Rs for my college fees I leave their house for my maternal aunts house and she promptly gives me 400 Rs, so we stay there and the devil knocks the door again.
There me and my elder brother were well fed, meantime my father sends us Rs 3000 for our expenses, then my Malakpet aunt asks me whether I would stay or leave, :-) and some how Arun's father comes to know that I had Rs 3000, as he was planning to place some concrete rings in the well of his house, he needed money, hence the pestering, whatever, I missed breakfasts in his home because my aunt would not get up, and my uncle also left with out breakfast but he ate at the Railways subsidized canteen, and my brother was well fed in fact very well fed at our maternal aunts house, only it was me who missed even lunch many days, so I lost weight.
[Note: Mercury in my chart is in Pisces where it gets debilitated, and in my Elder brother's chart it is exalted in Virgo, and Mercury stands for everything green, even food.]
In 1984, Secunderabad, Telangana, I was living with my maternal uncle on his pestering request, in Secunderabad, :-) while my father was in a border post and my mother with my younger siblings still in Punjab, and my elder brother lived with another maternal uncle's family, one day I returned home around 2 PM, it was a hot afternoon and I was hungry like hell, I find the door locked and while I was waiting near the door, with in minutes, my maternal uncle and his family return from his father-in-law's house after lunch, my uncle asks his son Arun to take me to his father-in-law's house, (who was also my mother's maternal uncle).
So Arun and I walk to their house, about two km, which was not the first time, we had spent many summers in their home along with my father and mother, they were family :-) but that day, the moment we reached the front door of their five floor zig-zag building, we were greeted by my uncle's mother-in-law, who was partially paralyzed, she sat with her feet blocking the front door, she looked at me and said, "There was little rice left, and my younger son is eating it", :-) Arun tells her to move her legs or he would pull her down, he was rough, probably he had done that before and knew she was nasty, she moves it, :-) I walk inside and greet her younger son who was few years senior to me, and we had together spent some quality time in Ambala, Haryana, when he visited us in 1976, he offers his plate, I refuse politely and after few minutes of talking, we leave and head straight to a cafe and eat something. :-)
In 1991, Hyderabad, Telangana, I return home at 11:00 pm after 16 hours of Lab work, and same time my elder brother also returns after his afternoon shift of 8 hours, my mother is still awake and walks in the kitchen along with me, while my brother is still washing himself, there is a plate full of warm food on the Kitchen table like it was prepared for someone special, I extend my hand to pull it towards me to take a look at it, my mother immediately pulls it away and tells me it is for your elder brother, you can take from the refrigerator, :-) I never reacted in such situations, it was not the first time, I take from the refrigerator, :-) this was also routine every Sunday, when the entire family sat together for lunch, My mother would generally ignore me and my sister while she served, her focus would always be my father first and then my elder brother. :-)
In 1993, In the company I was working, I am told I am R & D Incharge, and on Dusshera, all employees are given half Kg sweets, so I go to get mine from the stores, :-) this is a big issue in India on Dusshera in all companies like people are dying of sweets, as If the sweets are made of gold, :-) I am still standing in front of the company store along with a Chemical Engineer, who was incharge of the fractional distillations, he was also not a Reddy, he had some problem in one of his eyes, the MD walks behind us and tells the store keeper, make sure you give only one sweet box to each employee. :-)
In 1994, on a similar occasion of Dusshera, I was invited along with other Managers by a sister company from the same group, I was visiting this sister company for the first time, while I was taking a tour of the company all by myself, our MD was the MD for that company also, from corner of my eye I find him watching me, :-) and then I walk into the QC department to meet an employee who was with us before 1994, the MD walks behind me and tells that employee, V V Reddy make sure there are enough sweet boxes because some extra people have come this time. :-)
In 1994, MD invites the entire company for lunch on the occasion of the house warming ceremony of his new house, he was my boss, I was reporting to him directly, he should have invited me or at least informed me to come, but he did not, so I could not go, in fact it was a shock for me, R &D Incharge not invited, :-) the entire company was gone, only the production supervisor stayed back to keep an eye on the reactors, then when he got his replacement, he also left and asked me to go with him, I politely refused, because I was not invited, :-) then around 12 pm a relative and manager of the MD comes to the plant and asks me to go to the MD's house for lunch, this is one thing I can never do even today, so I politely refuse to go, and next day the MD comes to the lab and both of us behave like nothing had happened. :-)
The same year on Dusshera in the company I take liberty to serve food to the employees and their families, instead of just eating, taking my sweet packet and leave, :-) which I did from 1990 to 1993, but with in moments the MD walks up to me and tells me "leave it there are people (Reddy's) for that, they will take care of it". :-)
In Feb 1995, Hyderabad, Telangana, I visit his house to invite his family on my marriage, I tag along an employee , a Reddy, who happened to know their homes, as it was the first time in 6 years that I was visiting our MD's house, it was a 14 floor building, all the apartments were given on rent for Rs 2000 each, and MD's family lived in the ground floor, when he saw me, he made us sit on a cement slab in the small room outside the living room, where lots of shoes were strewn around, I give him the invitation card, he told me there was no one in the house, :-) and then there was this silence, :-) I take leave to give the invitation to the other MD, the non technical MD, also a Reddy, who also lived on the same street.
I knew their family well, as they visited our lab many times, I stop in front of their house to take a look behind us towards the 14 floor building about 500 yards away, :-) and as anticipated I find the MD (Technical) in his lungi and banyan standing in the middle of the road watching us, :-) so curious, they want to know everything, like they own you, well the family of the second MD showed so much enthusiasm, they offered me tea, but they did not come. :-)
On the day of my marriage, 19th Feb, the technical MD came with his wife and gifts an envelope with Rs 1000 (20$) :-) and I was already done with him, :-) when I sat on that cement slab in his house, that was the last nail, I had decided right then, I would leave the company after my marriage, so I also did not show any interest to check If he and his wife are taken care off, I could have asked my sister, but I didnot feel like, he sits in the back watching everyone and like few other employees who came, they all leave with out a word. :-)
I resigned in the month of August the same year but they let me go in Oct 1995 after lot of deliberations, threats, talks, meetings, exchange of words, etc. etc. :-) very next day I resigned, my name was removed from the employee register, :-) it was a mischief by one of the managers, who never spoke to me in 6 years, during the meetings that followed, when I mentioned it, the MD acted like he was not aware of that. :-)
The Telugu saying fit for him is: "Amma pettadu Adukoniyadu", meaning, mother will not give anything to eat and will also not allow to beg. :-) because they had this Cong-I mafia, Reddy Mafia backing them, so they thought they owned everyone who worked for them, it is not like, it is just the time they paid for that belongs to them, it is you and your life they owned and that to with such audacity. :-)
In 2001, Toronto, Canada, I visited Malton Gurudwara on Baishakhi Day in Toronto with my room mate who was a Sikh fellow, about 27 years old, there was a party arranged with 350 items arranged in a large hall, they called it Langar, :-) the Sikh fellow tells me, sarcastically, "It is free, you can eat as much as you want", :-) we go to Oshawa lake beach after few days, with a Punjabi couple who brought some food from their home, they were the same people who had arranged the airport pickup and introduced me to the Sikh fellow, he looks at me and again repeats, "food is free". :-)
[Note: Since my childhood I must have visited more then 20 Gurudwaras in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Secunderabad, Toronto, and eaten Langars, as simple as two Pulka and small quantity of Daal, and Halwa, sat on the floor, like it was originally prescribed, but once you are in Canada everyone treats you like you just came out of an egg. ;-)]
In 2002, Montreal, Quebec, I think it was April, Cat on the wall brings some cake and after every one is finished, :-) she was still left with some cake, :-) then she asks me If I wanted some cake, :-) I politely refuse, next day she walks behind me while I am eating my lunch, and she comments "Shit". :-)
In 2003, In Varennes, Quebec, in the month of March the company decides to celebrate birthdays of all the employees and my birthday falls on the first week of that program, :-) on that day, the Italian Director and Dumbanique sit in the cafeteria with a platter of fruits in front of them, I walk towards them and Dumbanique scornfully looks at me, the Italian director does not even look at me and then there is silence, no one talks, it was like someone died there, I pick few grapes from the fruit platter and sip my tea and look on at the long faces. :-)
Note: She wanted to replace him in his office, :-) he was also ready, :-) the operations team was also ready, her supervisor who was also my supervisor as usual had no say, because of his skin color, the human resources manager also appeared to be a party to it, such a dumb women, I have not seen in my life, she could not make it happen, they wanted me to fight with the Italian director for her, but when I did not, they thought If she would become R&D Manager, then she can replace the director with out any one objecting, but how to convince me, so then they thought move him to QC, then the QC Manager will have problem who was new, so they promoted JMB and Cat on the wall as team leaders, :-) that way the QC Manager got his safety wall, then If they moved me to QC as Chemist I would be under the team leaders, :-) so much thinking went into it, all they wanted was Dumbanique to sit in Director's office, :-) like it was agreed between her and the BFH before she joined, but she lacked any experience or skills, :-) forget about the director, she could not manage QC lab, what she would do in R&D, :-) I have not seen something like that in my entire life, where someone wanted to take on some position which she barely could manage, all because some political party was/is backing her, and some stupid fat lady was/is projecting her as a genius. :-)
The idea was she should become the director just like that but I should not get anything. :-) "Chit bhi Mera Pat bhi mera".
Then I have been asked before also like......
Are you Reddy ? 1990 to 1995,
Are you Brahmin ? this question was asked in my final interview in Indian Immunologicals ltd, 1995 :-) Three people, President and CEO, a London returned Assamese Brahmin, GM a Tamil Brahmin, Human Resources Manager, Telugu Brahmin, when I did not answer, the Human Resources Manager filled in by saying he is Kayast, (Another form of Brahmin.) :-), then I had no clue what Kayast meant. :-)
Are you Trembley ? Cat on the wall asked me in 2004, :-) she was not Trembley herself, no one in Varennes or Markham were a Tremblay, then why the question, :-) Tremblay was the Mayor of Montreal. :-) I still could not understand the context or reason for such a question. :-)
Then in 2004, when I finished three years in the company, :-) our operations director decides to give away gifts to those who have finished two years, I choose a wrist watch for ladies, thinking it will replace my wives Titan watch which went missing during my father's funeral in 1999 from our home, :-) but instead of the 150$ watch I chose, I was given a cheap watch, :-) and Dumbanique sat next to me with a scornful face and with out any reason she exists the cafeteria, like she was in a hurry and our operations director rotates her hand in the air above her head making some noise and gives me the cheap gift. :-)
I purchased a 20$ wrist watch in 2002 from Zellers, because it looked like a Million $ watch, :-) and our Human Resources Manager Sin'D looks at it and kept staring at it, :-) I am like, did you see that it looks like it is a Million $ watch, :-) it had that effect on people, but in those days I was not aware of the gossip that went in the back ground for almost anything and everything, like "he does not know what daal is", it seems she went and told the operations director and her team how expensive my wrist watch was, I still have that watch, :-) If anyone wants to buy it for a Million $, I don't mind, :-) the straps are broken but it looks great even today after 17 years. :-)
In 2013, Saint Laurent, Quebec, it was my daughter's farewell party in her high school and I went with my family, few students were carrying trays of some snacks, :-) I normally avoid eating junk or snacks outside, the students carrying those trays passed us like they were instructed not to hand over anything to us :-) of course it was Liberal strong hold Saint Laurent in 2013. How cheap :-) for people who said "sky is the limit".
And now Wimps from at least five countries want to take away the last morsel of food out of my mouth, while they insult, indulge and ridicule the food which is in abundance, but If the insult continues it might not be available for long.
All this is not a big deal, but it has been repeating it self, and I have tried to make sense out of it, why the same behavior time and again, only the place, and people changed every time but the behavior remained the same, there are a million other such instances more subtle, while I am still trying to make sense out of it, do you think I would go to people from my past in 2020 like the Hyenas have been expecting or anticipating since 2006. :-)
[Note: Observe what is repeating itself in your life, that needs to be addressed, or it will continue to repeat itself, it could be a backlog from one of your previous lives, when that particular thing was not given to others or taken away from others by force, like it is food/appreciation/credit in my case, I have written many times about the appreciation but not as a topic in one post, may be next time. :-) so make sure you give away food/clothes/shelter to the needy, and always appreciate others, it is just a lip service but it works, this life I have done that in abundance but people did not reciprocate on an equal basis. ]
This repeated experience in my life, is the reason why I do not expect anything from people, does not matter who it is, there is some invisible force at work, :-) I think it must be Satan, because it is only Satan who can manipulate the minds, now even Wimps in 156 countries lead by countries like England/Canada/USA have electronic wireless tools to manipulate the minds up to some extent but nothing like the Satan, it is complete, :-) Satan apes God so well.
It was not a coincidence in 2004, when suddenly our operations director projecting Dumbanique as a genius introduces herself as Bitch From Hell, :-) it is the Satan who takes control of the weak minds and there is no shortage of such minds, and again weakness is due to the food.
Satan is afraid, because it thinks I will bring his kingdom of pain, blood and gory down, and Satan does not want people to know the Truth, because with utmost care Satan had kept the people in dark, with his pseudo religion, he twisted almost every religion, :-) and people follow them blindly, he does not want me to reveal the Truth about anything, so Wimps should not feel too cosy and take the credit for everything, there is a bigger force at work and I have been dealing with it since my childhood, Wimps are the smaller evil. :-) "Chut Bhaiye". :-)
By the way who is on farmer's side, I think no one, :-) because If farmer's problems are solved then political parties like Akali Dal - Cong-I will have nothing to hold on to.
Imagine all the people who are making noise in Canada/England/USA and India contribute to a fund, let us say, "One farmer at a time", and bail them out one by one of all their misery, and free them from the trap they are in with the middle men (Adathis) and forego their produce at throw away prices just to survive, year after year, I think the middle men dragged them to the current rally and they had no option but to oblige, how difficult it is, there is two governments for each state, but the truth is no one wants to do anything about it. :-)
And Jai Jawan Jai Kisan had remained a political jumla, this is what the Bahurupia thinks. :-)
Funny is it not, few decades back Janta Dal along with all other regional parties was fighting Cong-I in India, and now Cong-I with more or less with same or similar regional parties is fighting Janata Dal, which is BJP now. :-)
Justin Trudeau is surrounded by people (Mostly women) who think they are very smart, in fact they always try to out smart others:-) they included a limit of minimum 5000 $ CAD income as an eligibility criteria to avail various financial aid packages for individuals and self employed/businesses in Canada, which also excluded me from availing any of those, but now they are realizing because of that one clause 4.4 million people out of 9 million people who availed the aid and spent it on personal debt or other home expenses are not eligible. :-) being over smart has a price to pay. :-)
Think about an individual who made 4990 $ in 2019 or in previous 12 months before application, the agony of being not eligible to avail 2000 $ per month. :-)
Just for thought, Sikh are good with agriculture and up to some extent with defense but innovation ? anyway, I know when Sikh is no longer the king like SHE was during Man Mohan Singh's government it must be hard to carry on, and this Kisaan Rally in India is one such attempt to bring back the old days (2008 to 2015) of Singh is King, :-) because for some people outside India it is very easy If Sikh is the proxy as King. :-)
Does not matter who backs down, the Sikh or the Modi's government, some one outside India wins. :-)
Ciao!
